After another week, I wanted to go grocery shopping. I met Jisung in the hallway and asked him what he wanted to do outside. Jisung hadn't left the house since the incident, not even for fresh air. That's why it felt pretty strange to see him putting on clothes to go out without telling anyone of us a thing.

“I want to go out. Two weeks are okay, but I need to move on now. I can’t hide for the rest of my life.”

“And you’re doing fine? It would be a saver to take someone with you, wouldn't it?”

“Maybe. But I need time for myself. I’m going to go to the park, that’s not so far away. I’ll be fine, Hyung.”

“Good. But we will come get you if you're not home to take your medicine.”

“Deal. See you later!” He waved and closed the front door.

POV Sungie
I was driving through the streets on my bike when I noticed a car following me. I wanted to turn left, so I looked behind me. The car wasn’t that near, but I could clearly recognize the faces of San and Wooyoung.

I felt my heartbeat even in my feet and turned my head around quickly. I was wearing a cap though, do they really know it’s me?? Are they just going a similar way? Whatever, I have to take the turn now. If they follow me, I have to rush home as quickly as I can. If not, I’ll do it anyway.

I heard them speeding behind me when I turned left to take the shortest way home. They stopped the car with a loud screeching sound of the wires on the street. When I looked behind me, I saw Wooyoung looking at me.
They ARE following me. They WILL turn to follow me further, and they DO want something from me again!

My breathing was fastening and fastening, just like me on my bike. At the end of this road, there is a gate. It leads to a huge garden of a family with huge, cute dogs. I’ll run through it, fight my way over their high fence, run through the next two gardens, through the hidden door in our fence, and I’m home. They just need to be slower than I am.

When I came to the gate, I let my bike fall to the ground. I opened the gate and heard the car coming near me, so I just ran. My head quittet work, tears ran down my cheeks, and my legs just kept running. Some car brakes made a loud sound behind me. I jumped over the fence and ran further. Some children were playing in a sandbox, and I had to run around them, which cost me time.

Dogs started barking behind me, and I felt my legs becoming heavy. It must have been the two dogs of the family… they are near. There's only one more wall and another huge garden with a pool, and I’m home. They won’t get me. They can’t…

I made it over the half-height stone wall when the kids started screaming. Wooyoung shouted something after me, I recognized his voice, but I was too busy running for my life to understand a word.

I ran around the pool and heard my pursuers' footsteps. My neighbors must have been on the terrace and saw us, as they called my name in surprise. “GO INSIDE AND HIDE!”  I screamed. This was going to have a messy ending. Whether Ateez gets me or I shoot them, all witnesses would have to be eliminated. Otherwise, we would be exposed. Mr. and Mrs. Yun don’t deserve something like that—they are old and way too sweet.

I made it through the gate to our garden. Luckily, the back door was opened wide. I ran inside and screamed, “GET THE GUNS!!! THEY ARE BEHIND ME!!”

I fell to the ground, breathing quickly, only my heart was beating faster. I felt a grip on my feet and got pulled towards the door, which made me scream and try to hold onto everything, but Hyunjin and Felix quickly arrived. Hyunjin loaded his gun, and the grip on my feet was gone. He shot, and I heard one body fall to the ground, accompanied by a scream of pain.

Felix grabbed two small knives, ran outside, and yelled: “STAY, OR I'LL CUT HIS THROAT!! …Now turn around and come here.”  His deep voice sent me chills.

Minho and Innie arrived as well. The younger ran outside to help Felix and Hyunjin, while Minho carried me to the couch. He asked many things, like if I were alright and so on.

“Minho, stop it, please. I’m fine, but we have to talk to some neighbours. They saw our chase. They’ll ask even more questions or call the police. Go get the others and calm them down, and talk to the children before we have to get rid of them!”

“Let me take a look at your wounds first.”

“I don’t feel any pain, trust me.”

“Jisung, right now you’re 50/50 adrenaline and sweat, you wouldn’t feel a thing if they'd cut off your leg… But your exterior indeed looks fine. We'll go to Suah, I don't care if you want that or not.”

“Later, we have to do this as soon as possible. Where are Seungmin and Changbin Hyung?”

“Ran to the others when I put you here. Come on now, the sooner we finish here, the sooner I can get you to the doc.”

“Alright.”
