The hamster stood up in his area in the pet store. He saw all the other creatures be bought and felt rather sad.  If only he had a home outside this small area.  If only he had a family even if it was a human one it is bound to be better than this right?

     Just as he thought all was lost, a boy came into the store with his mother and pointed right at him.  He smiled in happiness as he was chosen at last.  He did not put up a fuss when placed inside a box with a few holes in the sides to it, nor when his box was placed at the register.  He kept quiet as the kid said, "Henry is going to love it, Mom, I just know it!"  He wondered who was this Henry.  He was taken out of the store and took a nap. 

     Later, when he woke up he was inside a small enclosure yet it was a bit larger than the previous one.  He saw food, water, some cedar shavings, a nice wheel to spin around inside, and the small fenced-in area where he saw a few tubes that connected in the most unique pattern he had ever seen.  He smiled and knew he was home at last.

    "Wow, Henry you are awake!"  The boy said.

      The hamster thought so that it is it?   Henry is me.  He liked his new name.  This meant something, for now, he was not just a hamster, but one with a family. 

     Little did he know that he was about to be recruited into a secret organization or that it would be more than he could dream of in his entire lifetime.
