The next day, Agent H is called in by his boss to discuss some bad news.  Agent H can tell by the expression on the boss's face that the news is not good.  He wonders what it is that is so special even his sister is not allowed to hear it.

              "Agent H close the door, what happens here inside closed doors stays here," The boss says.

               "Yes, sir," Agent H replies as he does as he is told.

                "Now that we have that out of the way, let me discuss with you the reason I called you in here for the private meeting," The boss remarks.

                 Agent H sits there in silence as he goes over in his mind all the possibilities of what it is about to hear.  Nothing could have prepared him for the truth though as it is way worse than he could have imagined.

                 "It has been brought to my attention there is a  mole among us," The boss tells him.

                "A mole is in the animal mole, or as in the traitor?"  Agent H asks.

                "Well, in this case, it appears to be both," The boss answers.

               "Whoa, you are right this bad news," Agent H replies.

                "Bad news, it is horrible news, and the worse part is the mole is possibly one of us,"  The boss tells him.

               "One of us, but that would mean we have a double agent among us,"  Agent H responds with a frown.

            "Exactly and I want you to be on the lookout for any suspicious activity," The boss states.

            "So what you are telling me is that you want me to pay attention to everyone and report anything amiss to you?"  Agent H asks.

           "Yes, that is exactly what I mean because the sooner the mole is caught and found the better," The boss remarks with a smirk.

            "Yes, sir, right away sir, I will be on it," Agent H says.  He exits the room with only one thought on his mind who was the mole?

            Agent H shivers at the thought that a traitor is in their very midst.  He has no idea who it might be or what the motive is either.  He only knows one thing it is his job to track them down and bring them in or his name is not Agent H.  

          Agent A  notices Agent H seems out of sorts after he meets with the boss. She wonders what troubles him, but remembers she is new here.  Perhaps, she should leave the news whatever it may be a secret for just the boss and her brother, Henry. She knows that is his real name as she recalls the teen boy call him this may times.  She is glad to have a job here and a home at last.  She can not do anything to jeopardize all that even if it means she has to keep her mouth shut.

        The boss remains behind his desk with a huge smirk across his face. He is glad no one seems to notice anything off about his demeanor today.  It simply would not do. Not when he is the head of a huge corporation, not when so many lives and dollars are at stake.  So, he sits back, relaxes, and lets the employee, he just spoke deal with it.

         Meanwhile, the mole sits across town.  He thinks he is a rather cleaver mole indeed. He believes his tracks are so well covered no one will stand in his way.  He does not seem to realize how wrong he is right now. He is to deep in this to quit now. He can not back away from an opportunity to earn money now, can he?  Not with the risks so high let along when he has been at this for years.  So, he smiles as he types in a serious of numbers.

       Then, just like that, all the lights go off and on in all the cars in town. He thinks there should distract anyone for a while since they do not know which car to try to shut off first. He knows it is an old school trick, but it never hurts to go to the basics now does it?

       Agents I and L hear the sound of multiple car alarms go off at once while the headlights blink off and on. They think about how odd when it is in the middle of the night. Whoever it is must be good at electronics and technical skills.  It seems to be the job of a professional.  The question is who or what is behind this and why?  Why indeed?

    *Author's note: The inspiration for this chapter came from my son saying there should be a mole in the story.  So thanks to him there is now one included in this chapter.  Hope you enjoy the plot twist.
