Agent H.  breathes a sigh of relief as he gets on the plane. He goes straight to the place for his next mission.  He enters the place through the back door. He looks around and sees the empty gerbil cage. He notices the cage has the usual bedding, chew toys, food and water inside. Sure enough, there is no gerbil.

     He hears a scuffling noise under the refrigerator. He inspects to see what it is and laughs. It seems he found the missing gerbil.  Turns out the creature was under the refrigerator for over six hours.  No wonder his owners panicked. He convinces the gerbil to return to his inclosure as he will be much safer there. Then, he closes it back.

   Not bad at all, one case is solved.  He thinks, sometimes I wonder if should have been a detective instead of a spy. He went home, returned to his cage, hid the decoy, and fell asleep. For now, he is content to be Henry.

  Henry woke up to the smell of freshly cooked bacon, fried eggs, and brewed coffee. The house smells good this fine Saturday morning.  He rolls over, yawns, stretches for a bit, drinks some water, and goes back to sleep. He is one tired little fellow, what do you expect for a hamster?

 He gets no more missions for a week. 

     Later, when his phone does ring he says, "Ugh!"  at the number the call comes from this time.  It is from the house next door the one with the green shutters.  One of the few houses with a cat. He packs the special spray in case he needs it.  He sets the decoy in place. He hides elsewhere n the cage and leaves after dark as usual.   He sneaks out the door and into his neighbor's place.

  "Phew,"  He breathes a sigh of relief when the he sees the cat has fallen asleep.  He tiptoes past the animal glad not to be eaten.

  He enters the room where the lizard is supposed to be but does not see it. He panics when sees something strange. It glares at him.  Henry is not sure what it is he just knows he is completely terrified and here he is thinking he was safe.   He wishes he was in the safety of his hamster cage.

   The funny creature tries to eat him.  He tries to run from it. He trips and just as he thinks he is about to die something grabs him from behind. He struggles to get free. 

  "Calm down,"  he hears a voice say.  The source of the noise puts him inside a pocket.

     The rescuer hits the nasty thing that tried to eat him and it passes out. Henry is in shock what on earth did he just see?  He hides deeper inside the pocket. He shivers and wonders what to do now.

     The human puts on gloves, scoops up the reptile and puts it inside a cage. He takes it outside and releases it into the wild.

    The human returns to the house. The entire time Henry was inside the denim pocket and felt so alone.

      The human removes his gloves, washes his hands and sets Henry down on top of a box.  "Bye, I have to go to work now," The teen says. Then, he leaves.

    The teenager leaves for work. Henry watches the young man leave. He is still in shock about everything.  

   Henry looks for the lizard again. He finds a dried out object in a corner. He smells it. He wonders what happened to this poor defenseless animal.   It does not move and smells bad too.

   He suspects the animal has been dead for quite some time. He sprays it. Sure enough, his suspicions are correct.  He begins to search for clues on how the creature died. He finds none.

  The cat wakes up and tries to eat him. Henry pulls out the self-defense spray which he sprays in the cats face.  The feline is ticked off and jumps onto the back of the sofa.  Henry laughs.  

     Score zero for the cat.

He continues to look around to see if he can find the source of the lizard's decomposition. He sees a few pieces of plastic on the bottom of its home. He puts on gloves, sends samples of the plastic to his friend Agent J and returns to his home.
