I based this chapter off of the turtle episode but some things are different

(Y/n) POV:

I was at my house upset about what happened at the museum. There was a knock on the door as I got up to get it. I opened it to reveal the freckled face that abandoned me at the showcasing.

"I was right. I thought that you would look mad and you do." He said. "What happened?" I asked. "Um I don't really have a good excuse." He told me. "Nothing! Really, nothing! I mean come on John anything is better than nothing. Like come on I have been a really cool girlfriend."

"I know!" He tried to reason. "Most girls wouldn't really put up with this. The way you change plans at the last second or the waking up and screaming in the middle of the night! And the fancy plans are awesome! But then you ditched me right before I almost died!" I told him.

"I know and I'm really really sorry!" He said. "It's been fun and I love having fun. But I'm moving past the fun part. To the close part. And that's what I want. So please figure out if it's what you want and do it fast."

"Fast is my specialty." He said. I watched him leave and sat on my couch.

Washington's POV:

I watched Lafayette get out of his car after racing. "Yo pay up!" He said. "What you got someone tailing me now?" He asked walking up to me. "Why didn't you show up for dinner last night?" I asked.

     "Couldn't make it!" He shrugged. "If you tell someone you're gonna be somewhere you show up!" I told him. "Guess I didn't have a dad to teach me that."

     My heart broke a little as he said that. "Is this why you came to Central city. Not to get to know me or your sister but for this non sense." "No one in Keystone will race me. But you know I don't have to explain myself to you." He shrugged.

     "Actually you do! This is illegal. And I'm a cop, remember?" I told him. "Oh yeah the detective who didn't know he had and who doesn't know anything about me!" He growled. "Look I'm trying to get to know you."

     "That car I won! These races I win. It's the only way I can pay for my moms hospital bills and to get her the help she needs." He frowned. "Look you don't have to do this. I have money and I can help you with this." I tried to tell him.  "I don't need your money! I can take care of myself and my mom. I'm the man of the house."

     "Go home to your family George." He walked away as I frowned.

(Y/n) POV:

     There was a light knock on the door. "John?" I called out. The door opened and the Turtle walked in. I pulled out my gun and shot three times. He did something and the bullets slowed down until they stopped. I watched them fall to the floor.

He walked over and grabbed me holding the gun to my head. "Wh-what do you want from me?" I asked struggling. "The thing most precious to the flash! You." He said.

John's POV:

"(Y/n)?" I knocked on the door. "(Y/n)?!?" I got worried. I opened the door and saw bullets on the floor. "No, no, no, no, no. No." I whispered to myself. "No come on." I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and rapidly started pressing the call button.

"George! Um hey I think the Turtle has
(Y/n)!" I worriedly said. "Just, just meet me at star labs!" I ended the call and hurried to star labs.

(Y/n) POV:

"What do you want from me?" I struggled as I was tied to a chair. "I want you to stop moving. Forever." He said. He worked on something over on a table. "What do you get out of killing me?" I was confused as why he needed me to not move.

     "Oh I'm not gonna kill you. That's fast and messy. I'd rather take things nice and slow." He smirked. "You don't have to hurt me to prove a point." I tried to reason with him. "This isn't about hurting you. It's about hurting someone who values you."

     "John?" I asked. "No. The flash." He said. "What does he have to do with this?" "I saw the way he saved you." He smirked. "Yeah that's what he does! He saves people cause he's a hero!"

"They take everything for granted. So you take the things they value most." He said. "My wife Rosalyn (I just used it from the show cuz it didn't say who Lee's wife was when I looked it up) took me for granted." He frowned.

     "She wanted to leave me, the thing I valued most." He finished. "So this is what this is about? You're hurt because your wife left you?" I said. "I couldn't let that happen. So I made her mine! Forever." He grabbed a notecard and wrote something on it.

     He slid it into the front of a box. "I sure do hope I spelled your name right."

John's POV:

     "John we'll find her." George told me as I paced around the cortex. "I'm not getting any leads on this guy. It's like he's totally fallen off the grid." Alex said going through the computer.

     "You know all the stuff he's stolen, I can't find it." Peggy said. "He keeps them. Like the way a serial killer collects trophies." Aaron explained. "He's stolen a lot of stuff." George said.

     "Which means he needs a lot of space to store it right?" I said. "That's where we start!" Alex started looking up places where the Turtle could be. "No I'm not getting anything."

     "Wait a minute. His ex wife used to be an archivist for antiquities at the Naydel Library before it shut down, and it shut down three months after the accelerator exploded." Peggy said.

     "That place is big enough to hold Turtle's stuff." George pointed out. "Okay!" I said. "Wait John we haven't even figured out how to neutralize the Turtle's pulses!" Aaron called out.

     "Well I'm gonna have to power through it!" I said. I ran over to the abandoned library. "Alright I'm in front of the library." I said. "John the only way to save (Y/n) is if you grab her in between each of the Turtle's pulses." Alex told me.

     "You'll only have 2/10ths of a second to make your move." He said. "Got it!" I replied.

(Y/n) POV:

     He grabbed a needle as he came over. "No!" I yelled as he went to put it in my arm. The flash came running in as the Turtle slowed him down again like at the museum.

     He punched and kicked him as he could barely move. He stopped whatever he was doing to slow him down and the flash ran out.

     "I guess he doesn't care about you as much as I thought." He frowned. He brought the needle close to my arm again. "No! No please!" I pleaded.

     But before he could put the needle in the flash came back. The Turtle tried to slow him down but the flash kept moving. He tried harder but he wasn't able to keep it up. The flash punched him as the Turtle hit the wall.

     "Here it's okay everything's fine." He softly said as he cut the rope. "Thank you! Whoever you are!" I hugged him. "It's okay. It's okay." He quietly said.

The next day

John's POV:

     "Hey! Are you okay? I heard what happened!" I hugged (Y/n). "Yeah I'm fine." She smiled. "Um can I talk to you up in the lab?" I asked. "Sure!"

     "So I wanted to tell you this last night but uh ya know everything will make sense now because... I'm the flash!" I smiled. Her jaw dropped as I finished my sentence.

     She said nothing. She just gave me a huge hug. "Thank you for everything you've done!" She mumbled into my chest. "I'll do anything for you." I told her.

     She pecked my cheek and everything was perfect. "I love you my speedster!" She smiled. "I love you too!"

Woah this was fun to write! I used the lines from the episode but also changed the ending so yah! I hope you liked it!
