Hamilton POV-
I take a deep breath as I lower my gun. The screams stopped, no more gunshots....just silence. I look up at the bayonet my troops were climbing, they all came down now. Wr were trying to distract the British, it didn't work as we planned but it worked. I see a redcoat come onto the bayonet, which made me clench my gun. Washington walks up to me and puts his hand on my shoulder. I see the redcoat pull out a white handkerchief. He waves it, as a sign of surrender. I look over to Washington, he smiles a bit. Just like that.....the war ended. Does this really mean freedom? I think to myself. Later that night, I write a letter to Laurens. I say,
Laurens my friend,
The war has ended, we won. I can't wait to see you, not just you but there is something I haven't told you yet. Eliza is having a child, I can't wait for you to meet him. Eliza already told me his name will be Philip, after her father. General Philip Schuyler. I can't wait to see you again, not in war, but at home.

I put the letter in a envelope, I give it to a merchant to send to Laurens camp, he nods and trotts off on his horse.

Laurens POV-
I hold onto my horse reins, to slow her down. I hear something. (Idk if he had a horse I can't find anything online lmao) the general says,
"Sh, I hear something," guess it's not me. Then I hear a gunshot, and my horse was hit. I managed to get off in time where she doesn't fall on me.
"We are under attack sir!" One of the soldiers says.
"Return fire!" The general says back. I grab my gun and I see the redcoats in the bushes.
"In the bushes sir," I say to the general who was next to me, also shooting his gun. He changes his aim to the bushes in the dense forest.
"Fubar..." the general mutters under his breath. (Word in the military that means everything in this situation sucks) I turn around to see more redcoats aiming at us.
"Got your six sir!" I yell out as I aim for the redcoats. (Got your back, dang I am adding so many terns lmao which I totally didn't look up) Which made the general turn around as well. I shoot my musket, I hit one of the redcoats, while I am reloading I see another one fall down, this time from the general. Around 2 hours later, the redcoats retreated. My horse died, which was sad cause Alex gave her to me. As a birthday gift. We head back to the camp, and we get some food. Not the best for but it's food so I can't complain.

2 days later

"John Laurens has a letter from Alexander Hamilton," I hear as I wake up. I sit up quickly on my cot and I quickly run out.
"I am John Laurens sir," I say.
"Here is your letter sir," a supoosed merchant says handing me a letter.
"Thank you sir," I reply. He nods and trotts into the forest. I run back to my tent and I read the letter.

Laurens my friend,
The war has ended, we won.

"We...won...." I say to myself with tears forming.

I can't wait to see you, not just you but there is something I haven't told you yet. Eliza is having a child, I can't wait for you to meet him.

Eliza is having a child? Wow, I am happy but jealous. Eliza and Alex is starting their own family, I wished me and Alex could do that. It is illegal though, but atleast I will be able to see him.

Eliza already told me his name will be Philip, after her father. General Philip Schuyler. I can't wait to see you again, not in war, but at home.

I smile as I finished reading and I run out the tent to the general.
"The war had ended sir!" I say jumping up and down. "Alex said in this letter!"
"What if he is lying...?" The general replied.
"Alex would never lie sir, I know that for a fact,"
"I want to wait till someone tells us face to face,"
I sigh as I walk back to my tent. I grab some paper and ink, I write back to Alex

Dear Alex,
I can't believe we won, thr general doesn't believe you. I told him you never lie, but he didn't believe me. But, I am also happy Eliza is having a child and you are becoming a father. I can't wait to me Philip Hamilton. I will see you soon friend

I fold the note, and I run into the woods and catched up to the merchant.
"George Washington's camp please sir," I say, out of breath.
"Sure thing," he replied, stuffing it into a bag. He trotts off into the distance, I decided to sit there for awhile. I believe Alex with my heart that the war ended, but shouldn't we be informed already? But I know that the last battle was in Yorktown, and that I am in South Carolina, but we should have known by now. While I was thinking that I hear someone. I quickly sit up and I stare into the distance. I see a figure walking up, then I realized who it was. Lafayette!
"Lafayette!" I say running to him.
"The war ended Laurens!" He replied.
"Alex told me in a letter, the general doesn't believe it though," I say laughing.
"I will tell him," Lafayette replied signaling me to follow.

5 years later

Eliza POV-
Man I am tired, Philip and Angie are so excited. They get to see John Laurens today, we try to do it every year, Lafayette and Mulligan are coming as well. They never met them before, Alexander told me that they were "to scared to meet them, and didn't want to scare them". I hear a knock on the door, which made Philip and Angie's face light up. I open the door to see the three standing there. Lafayette and Mulligan were sweating  like heck.
"Come on guys, they won't be scared of you guys," Laurens says turning to them.
I laugh and lead them inside.
"UNCLE LAURENS!" Philip and Angie yell out running to him.
"Yep, I came with friends as well meet Uncle Lafayette and Uncle Mulligan," I say laughing.
Angie walks up to Lafayette and makes grabby hands. Lafayette picks her up while laughing.
"Soft hair!" Angie says, playing with Lafayette's hair.
"My hair is the best!" Lafayette says, making Angie and Philip laugh.
"Honey, they a-" I say, but then I day Alexander running down the stairs.
"There he is!" Laurens says.
"I am sorry I was busy with political stuff," Alexander says laughing.
