"What does that mean?" Angelica spat, still having a grudge on Burr after what the actor said in the first song.

[HAMILTON]

"Way to seem like a creep Hamilton." James whispered

[BURR]
I'm getting nervous

"I would be too." Jefferson thought out loud.

[HAMILTON]
Sir...

I heard your name at Princeton. I was seeking an accelerated course of study when I got sort of out of sorts with a buddy of yours. I may have punched him. It's a blur, sir. He handles the financials?

"You did what!?" Eliza exclaimed, baffled

[BURR]
You punched the bursar

"Tell me you didn't punch him..." Washington slightly groaned.

[HAMILTON]
Yes!

"Why are you proud of that?

"He called me stupid. He deserved it." Hamilton simply said

Eliza, Washington, and Angelica sighed while Hamilton's friends laughed.

I wanted to do what you did. Graduate in two, then join the revolution. He looked at me like I was stupid, I'm not stupid

"See?"

"Really?" Washignton deadpanned

So how'd you do it? How'd you graduate so fast?

[BURR]
It was my parents' dying wish before they passed

Everyone, even Angelica who still had a grudge on Burr, looked at him with sympathetic looks. Especially Alexander, he knew what it felt like to be an orphan at a young age. 

All Burr did was stare at the stage. He didn't like the attention he was getting.

[HAMILTON]
You're an orphan. Of course! I'm an orphan

"That is not a thing to get all excited about." Washington said, nervous about the both of them

God, I wish there was a war!

"WHY WOULD YOU WISH THAT?!" Hercules shouted

Then we could prove that we're worth more

Than anyone bargained for...

"...I guess that kinda makes sense..?" Lafayette shrugged

[BURR]
Can I buy you a drink?

"Please don't get him drunk. It will only make things worse." Eliza sighed looking at her husband

[HAMILTON]

While we're talking, let me offer you some free advice

"HA, I doubt it." Jefferson laughed. He barely met Hamilton and yet it was obvious that he wouldn't take that advice.

[HAMILTON]

Burr tried to smile but as he saw the rest of the room start to laugh he looked down. 

"Is that really the advice you go by?" Lafayette chuckled

 "Who did you get that from? Or did you just come up with that yourself?" Angelica laughed

"Uhh, yeah...kinda." Burr sighed and rubbed his neck as others rolled their eyes. He knows they will never know why he uses those words. 

[HAMILTON]
Ha

"Ha indeed!." Alexander sarcastically said

[BURR]
Don't let them know what you're against or what you're for

Burr clutched his arm tightly and bit his bottom lip, growing a bit tense.

[Burr]
