Summary: Alexandra catches the chills like Theodosia but Theo lives and she sadly dies with her husband, friends, adoptive parents and siblings next to her bed and now Elliot must break the news to their 10 year old son Phillip

Phillip sat in the living room, waiting on his father and other family, his mama was getting worse

Why her? Why his mama? Their were perfectly good and other people without children to catch this illness but it chose his mama

Then his uncle Lafayette burst through the doors with uncle john who had survived a gun shot wound during the war if John could survive a gun shot mama could survive a sickness...right? "Phillip!"uncle Lafayette cried

He got smushed by hugs from his uncles

Then grandpa George walked down the steps of the stairs, with a sad look Lafayette and John rushes over "I just heard of Alexandra! Where is she?! Where is my sister!?"Lafayette cried "Lafayette..John.."George looks over at Philip who had gotten a book from the book shelf out "she's getting worse..."he whispered

John and Lafayette follows George into his mamas room

A couple hours pasted when he finally heard word of his father

He walked down the halls of the house passing his mothers room to hear...crying? Had something happened?

He reached his fathers study and opened his big doors to his father standing there with his back to him..something was up

"Papa?"he asked "you asked for me?"Philip then got a idea "how's mama? Is she getting better?"Phillip asked exited thinking his mother would be better and would be able to play violin together again

Then his father spoke

He inhaled a sharp breath "dear Phillip how to say to you?"he sang turning around facing him he was crying

He walked over and bent down and put his hand on his sons cheek "sometime this night your mother breathed your name"Elliot informs him "and like a flame that flickers out to soon she died she's gone..."that's when he really broke down sinking to the floor

The words struck Phillip like bullets

He began to cry and hugged his father only to be brought out of it by his father who looked at him still crying

Sucking in another breath "she dedicated every day to you..."Elliot sang "she changed my life she made my life worth while"

"And when you smile" Elliot could see Alexandra standing behind Phillip wearing her usual green signature dress she smiled that beautiful beautiful smile he fell in love with all those years ago her beautiful red hair looked like fire and her beautiful Violet eyes looked pretty as always

When she became sick her eyes lost her child like wonder and her hair lost its color making her look worse then ever

Then she disappeared

He looked back at Phillip he had her smile "I know apart of her lives on I know I can go on"he hugged him again Elliot hugged back "you have come of age with our young nation we bleed and fight-.."he sobbed "some times it seems that's all we do" he took his son out of his chest and stood taking his hand "but you and I will built a strong foundation and I'll be here for you"

He looked at his father missing his mother it didn't feel right without her "the way it's clear for you to blow us all away"Elliot sang "someday...someday..yeah you'll blow us all away...someday.....someday..."

Alexandra stood at the door watching her husband and son she wished she didn't have to leave her boys so soon but god had other plans

After dying she was changed back into the age she was when she met her husband the ripe age of 23

Then someone put their hand on her shoulder she turned to see her real mother,brother cousin and all her friends from her past and from now times

"Are you ready to go darling?"Rachel asked her daughter she took one final look at her boys before nodding taking her mother's hand "I am mama"she said and disappeared

She'll see them again soon...
