Person A and B are arguing over something, when A gets so upset that they decide to sleep on the couch that night, leaving B alone in their's and A's shared room. That night, B wakes up crying from a bad nightmare, and gets more upset when they don't see A beside them. A hears B from downstairs and gets worried, hurrying back up to them.
