Optional ending #1
Maria! I choose Maria.
Hamilton traveled day and night. He had no sleep, no food, no water. He was all alone with his thoughts and feelings. He thought about what he was going to say to her, he was deathly nervous. He had no idea how she would react. She thought he was dead, and now he's back!He wondered if she had moved on, if she had found another.
He didn't want to to go back Eliza, even though she forgave him he knew deep down inside she could only see Phillip whenever she looked at him. He understood, he could only see Phillip in her too.
He didn't want to go back to Angelica, he wasn't sure if their love was strong enough. And he thought about visiting Laurens grave, but the thought only haunted him. Even though I go it happened forever ago, it was too soon. And there was no point! The past had happened and he could never turn time back.
He finally arrived at Maria's. He had not idea what day it was, or year! He was scared. He knocked on the door. Seconds later, footsteps were heard and the door slowly opened. Maria stood in the doorway. Her figure was lovely, just as he remembered. Her lips were big and her face was slim. Her smile was huge. "Hello Hercules. I've been expecting you."
Hamilton was taken aback. He looked at his hands and they were big and manly. He had huge muscles and he was BLACK. WHAT THE HELL. He quickly put together that he came back as Hercules and was no longer in his old body.
"Is something no wrong?"
Maria tilted her head to her side.
"No, I'm fine. May I come in?"
"Sure."
She moved her body to the side. She looked at him in a way that reminded him of the way she used to look at him. When he was still Hamilton, I mean.
She put her hand on his shoulder and looked up at him. He didn't know what to do. He leaned in and they kissed. He slammed her against the wall and they kissed.
They fell on to the couch and kissed. They walked down the hallway and he pushed her into the bed. And they removed each other clothes and made love.
The next morning Maria lied awake looking at Hamilton(or Hercules, rather). She seemed distraught. She seemed lonely. Hamilton woke up and stared into her eyes.
"Last night was lovely."
Maria stared blankly.
"Are you ok?"
Maria shook her head. "Sorry, I've been having trouble lately. I've sort out of lost myself."
"What is it? Is there anything I can do?"
"That. What you said. It reminds me of something Hamilton would say. I've been missing him."
Hamilton's eyes widened. "Really? You truly miss him?"
"I'm sorry to kind of ruin it moment, but yes. I loved him and now, he's gone."
He could see her holding back tears. He leaned forward and kissed her. "That's from Hamilton. I can tell he loved you."
She sniffed "Thanks."
Hamilton gathered his things in silence and got dressed. Maria meet him and the doorway and he gave her one last kiss "I loved you. I always loved you. Hamilton, I mean. He wishes you well. And he wishes you happiness."
He turned away and left Maria, traveling back to his grave. He climbed back in his grave and shed a single tear. Not of lost love, or a life that could have been, or seeing Maria so torn apart. He shed a tear of relief, realizing she felt the same love as he did.
