(Y/n) POV:

Dad never likes to really celebrate his birthday. He always says it's the best time when I'm with him. I love being with my dad. He's awesome. And he deserves a lot. So this year I'm gonna throw a party for him! But the problem is I'm only 9. How am I supposed to get the food or decorations?

Wait! I can make decorations! And maybe if I call auntie Peggy she can help! My plan was set. I quietly snuck into dads room. Then I realized he's at work. Even though it was a Sunday and his birthday he had to go to work. "Hmph." I crossed my arms. I trudged into the kitchen. "How am I supposed to make dads party now?" I whined to myself.

     There was a note on the table. I picked it up and silently read it. My eyes lit up with excitement. Auntie Peggy is gonna babysit me! I can probably convince her to take me to the store to get different things. Someone knocked on the door and I saw it was auntie Peggy from the window. I quickly unlocked the door and opened it to see a smiling Peggy.

"Auntie Peggy!" I jumped up and down. "Hey kid!" She picked me up. That's how small I was. People could still pick me up and hold me. "Hey Peggy um can you take me to the store?" I gave her the puppy eyes so she'd say yes. It always works on dad. "Oh kid you don't have to do those eyes on me. I'll more than likely always say yes!" She chuckled.

I gave her a big smile. "Let me go get my money." I rushed to my room and grabbed my wallet. Almost tripping down the stairs I ran down as quick as I could. "How much money do you have?" She asked. I opened my wallet and took a peak. "3 dollars and... 1, 2, 3 ,4 pennies!" I smiled. She gave me a weird look. "I spend my money on a lot of weird things." I confessed.

     She chuckled. "I got you. Why do you wanna go to the store so bad?" She asked. "I wanna throw a party for dad. He doesn't ever do anything so I wanna do this for him." I explained to her. "Hmmm" She hummed. "Okay I'll call the guys and my sisters! We'll have the best party ever!" She told me.

     I gave her a big smile. "Well let's go! We've got a party to plan." I followed aunt Peggy out to her car. I crawled in the back and put my seatbelt on. She drove to Target and we got out. The party section was huge! There were so many different colors of decorations. "What color were you going for?" She asked. "How about blue?" I suggested. "It's up to you!"

     "Yeah! Let's do blue!" I decided. "Alright then!" She said. We picked out a bunch of different blue decorations. I found dad a turtle coffee mug so I got him that. He always drinks coffee when he wakes up. As I looked around at the cakes aunt Peggy stayed on her phone. "This one!" I jumped with joy as I pointed at a big chocolate cake that had Oreos on it. "Good choice!" She complimented.

"I gave everyone a call and they said they could make it tonight." She told me. "Yay!!!" I jumped around and she laughed at me. We paid for all the stuff and drove back home. It was 12:30 and dad usually gets home at 4. So we have 4 and a half hours to get the house ready.

     We decorated as quickly as we could and set out the cake. It was 3 and people started arriving. Now we wait! Everyone talked about stuff as Philip and I were in my room. He tied the ribbon of my dress into a bow behind my back. "Thanks Philip." I told him. "No problem. I'm used to it anyway. Angelica always asks me to do hers when she wears a dress." I nodded my head as a response.

     "(Y/n)! Your dad is here! Come down so we can surprise him!" Peggy called to me. Philip and I rushed down the stairs. The doorknob started wiggling and the door opened. "Surprise!" We all yelled. "Hey guys!" He chuckled. "What is this?" He asked. "(Y/n) planned this whole party for you. Within a couple of hours!" Peggy told him. "Wow! It's great!" He said. I ran and jumped into his arms.

     "So you like it?" I asked. "I love it!" He kissed my forehead and set me down. "Now let's have some fun!" He cheered. The night was awesome. Uncle Herc got a little too drunk and the party lasted till midnight. But it was still really fun!
