Alexander stared into John's eyes, an unknown emotion hidden behind them. There was a silence between them that neither seemed willing to break. Out of the corner of his eye, Alexander watched John's movements carefully. This was the last straw for Alex. He coughed uncomfortably before breaking the silence.

"Look, John, I would die for you,"  Alexander broke his gaze from John's eyes and looked down. John tilted his head in confusion at his boyfriend's actions, though deep down he knew where this was going. "I would even kill for you, but..." Alex took a deep breath while John closed his eyes in preparation for what was to come. "But," Alexander began, staring annoyedly at John now. John smiled back charmingly, hoping he could smile his way out of what his boyfriend was going to say. He couldn't.

"But if you take another one of my fries, I'll just plain kill you," Alex growled as he swatted his boyfriend's hand away from his fries. He had been stealing them from Alexander ever since their food had arrived and Alex was fed up with it.

This was really short, so I'm sorry. It's like almost one in the morning sweet Jesus.

I got the idea for this from a prompt I found on Tumblr.

Also, I'm sorry for the lack of updates recently. I've been really stressed out with school lately and I've also been working on writing an actual fanfiction instead of just oneshots. I'm almost done with chapter one, so expect to see it soon!

I'll try to update this book more often, but I can't promise anything.
