⚠️Suicide warning⚠️

     James Reynolds cleared his throat as he tapped his longtime crush on the shoulder. He knew that he was taken and probably didn't even know of James existence but he was fine with that. Behind his back, he held a bouquet of multiple different flowers, each chosen with care to their meaning.

      The boy, Alexander Hamilton, looked up at James with a confused expression painted on his features. "What do you want?" he asked after five seconds of them staring at one another. James forced a smile as he shoved the flowers into Alexander's arms and ran off just as quickly. Alexander looked down at the bouquet frowning slightly.

      The bouquet  was a mix of red chrysanthemums, gardenias, blue roses, and rose of Sharon's. There was a small notecard sitting amidst the flowers and Alex picked it up to read it.

Each flower has a meaning, chosen specially to display my feelings.

      Alexander stared down at the bouquet and then the notecards, feeling pity for the boy who had handed him the bouquet. Alexander knew that his boyfriend would not allow him to keep the bouquet, out of jealous nature, long enough to search up what each of the flowers meant. So, with little care, he tossed the flowers into the nearest trashcan, unaware that James had seen the whole scene.

      The heartbroken boy had expected this outcome, but it still hurt nonetheless. He watched as Alex walked away from where James had confronted him and smiled a sad smile. The next morning James was found dead in his apartment, a bottle of pills and a note lying next to him.

        On the note was a list of all the flowers that had been in the bouquet he'd handed to Alexander and their meanings. The note was sloppily written and most of it was rubbed out.
