Just a very short little fic I wanted to do

This is based off something one of my OTPs did canonically, so I made a Lams version (with background Mullette because why not)

Highschool AU

John happily walked down the streets to his friend's house, the hood of his cloak slipping down a bit. He readjusted it as he neared the home, carefully shifting the one on his shoulder. He knew the night would be fun.

The door swung open a second after he knocked, getting pulled into a hug. "Bonjour, mon ami (Hello, my friend)!"

The freckled boy quickly pushed him away, checked to make sure the costume was safe, then resumed the hug. "Hey Laf! Good to see you!"

"You as well, Laurens!" The Frenchman smiled. Hercules chuckled from behind him.

"It's great to see you here. But what's up with that?" He pointed to the costume slung over John's shoulder.

John held it up to show them. "It's for Alex! I figured we could go as a pair if he decides to come with! I'm Little Red Riding Hood, and he can be the Big Bad Wolf!"

"That's precious." Herc ruffled his hair playfully. "Anyway, we should head out. Let's go get some candy."

"Hell yeah!" Lafayette cheered, taking his boyfriend's hand. "Allez, mon ami (Come on, my friend)!"

John knew it was gonna be a good Halloween.
