We're jumpin' straight in. And little bit'a angst.

Alex's POV

Another day at work another opportunity to see Thomas.

I made my way to Thomas's office, why you ask? Him and I have been dating for two years now.

No one knows of course, Thomas is scared to see how they would react.

" Hello beautiful~ " I say when I enter the office. "Hi, " The now red secretary of state says.

I kiss him passionately earning a squeak of his end. "Why are you
here?" He asks after we break apart.

"It's nothing, just wanted to see your pretty face again, " Just as I expected, Thomas turns pink.

"If that's all then can you leave? James is meeting me here soon. "
"Fine! Goodbye love~ "
"Bye, "

I skip out of Thomas's office only to come face to face with John.
"Alex! "
"Hey John, "
"What were you doing in Jeffers***'s office? "
"Don't call him that! "
"Why not?! "

At that point a crowd had formed around us, most of the people were our friends.

I also took note that Thomas had come out of his office to see what the commotion was about.

I looked at him, he shook his head. We were arguing silently until he finally gave in. So I walked up to him and kissed him.

Everyone around us was in shock, then Da- Washington said "Congrats son! " .

Herc says " Did y'all do it yet? " making us both go red.

Soon enough everyone's shock wore off and they were congratulating us.

Everyone except John.

His face went red with anger and he yelled " WHY HIM!? ". To which I said " Because I love him! " Making Thomas's face go red.

"YOU HATE HIM! "
"I wouldn't be dating him if I hated him. "
"WHY CAN'T YOU LOVE ME!? "
"..."

"I have loved you for 4 years now. I fell in love with every part of you. Please..." John was crying but he grabbed my collar and kissed me.

I immediately push him away and yell "WHAT THE F***! I DON'T LOVE YOU! AND I HAVE A BOYFRIEND! ".
" Alex..."
"Don't come near me or my boyfriend again. " I mutter darkly.
"FINE! " He storms off.

"Go home son, you need a break, " Washington says. "Fine, cmon babygirl, " I say turning to Thomas and picking him up while wrapping his legs around my waist.

Thomas, of course, turns completely red and burries his head in my neck. As I walk away Laf says " Make sure to use protection! ". So Thomas flips him off.

"Don't worry, I will! " I call back.
