Thomas  and James are in kindergarten. Thomas is 5 and James is 6.

Thomas's POV

My mom dropped me off at my new school. We walk into the building together. I'm clinging onto her for dear life and I held her even tighter when we got to the classroom.

" Hello Mr. Anthony, " " Oh, hello. You must be Mrs. Jefferson. ". He glanced down at me. " And that is Thomas I presume? " " Yes it is him. Say hi Thomas, ". I stayed silent and buried my face deeper into her pant leg.

" I'm sorry about him he's just..., " Mom sighed. "I understand and thats why I got him a little buddy! " He told mom. Mom looked confused " I asked James here if he could be friends Thomas, y'know to make this easier on him, " A boy appeared from around the corner.

He had short curly hair, dark skin, and the most beautiful brown eyes.
Beautiful?! Ugh nevermind!

"Hi I'm James! " "H-hi,I'm T-Thomas, ".
" Nice to meet ya Thomas! I really hope we can be friends! " "M-me too,".

He then took my hand and led me into the classroom. He took me, dragged me,over to a table with a few more kids. There was a girl and two boys.

The girl had long curly hair that went to her shoulders, chocolate skin, and was wearing a red t-shirt and jeans.

One of the boys was blonde with short hair and light skin. He wore a blue striped shirt and, once again, jeans.

The last boy was dark skinned, his head was shaved, and he had on a black t-shirt and sweatpants.

"Hey guys! This is Thomas! He's new here, so we're gonna be his friends! ".
The kids introduced themselves. I learned that the girl's name was Maria, the blonde was Samuel, and the last one was Aaron.

" H-hi, " I said, whispered, as me and James sat down. Then James said
" You stutter a lot, I like that. It's
cute. ". I blushed a lot and James told me I was cute again, which made me blush more. His friends were
smirking in the background.

This is going to be a fun year...
