Thomas' POV

I was asleep having the greatest dream when my alarm starting screaming at me to wake up.

I swear I'm ready to throw that alarm out the window. Wait-ugh...I have school...

I've always hated school, I don't like places with a lot of people. Plus, I have to interact with human beings...

The only good thing about school is my best friend since first grade, James Madison. He's the best friend anyone could ever ask for, he's always there for me.

And I may have a small, miniscule, totally not huge crush on him. But he doesn't like me back, of course. He would never like someone like me...

Anyway, I got up and shut off my alarm. Now to get dressed...binder, t-shirt, jeans, my hot pink sweatshirt, and sneakers.

I stared at myself in the mirror, glaring at every curve on my body. Voices echoed in my head fat, ugly, unworthy, worthless-

Someone knocked on my door, interrupting my thoughts. So I go answer the door, "Yes? ". My older sister, Jane, was standing there.

" You ready to go? " She asked, "Y-yeah..." I stuttered.

Then we go down stairs to meet the rest of our siblings. I have 9 siblings in total, it's complete chaos. We all got in the car, with Jane in the drivers seat, and she drove us all to school.

~Time Skip~
At Thomas' school

"This is my stop! " I say to Jane and she pulls over. I get out and head into the building. I make my way through the crowds, searching for my best friend.

Cmon, where are you James? My question was answered when James came up behind me and picked me up, twirling around with me in his arms.

I was taller than him but I was also lighter, that's what you get for starving yourself...plus James was really strong.

"James! Put me down you idiot! " I was a blushing mess, I hated it when James did things like this, especially in public.

He chuckled and put me down, " Hi Tommy! ". I blushed harder at the nickname, my heart fluttered whenever he called me that.

" H-hi Jem, " I hate my stutter so much...

James POV

" H-hi Jem, " Thomas stuttered. Oh, I love his stutter. It's so adorable! He's so adorable! I blushed at my thoughts, James calm down, your gay is showing.

I'm not gay, I'm actually bi. I would never admit it to anyone though, especially not to Thomas.

*The bell rings*

"Let's get to class! " I grab Thomas' hand and walk to class. Oh god-why am I holding his hand?! James you idiot you probably made it awkward!

Thomas' POV

OH MY GOD HE'S HOLDING MY HAND! Thomas calm down, it's probably just platonic...you're just friends...

We make it to class and take our seats. Mr. Washington starts a lesson about...something. I honestly don't know, wasn't listening.
