It was the morning after, and it was the day that Elizabeth did not want to come, Alexander had to go back, she was more scared than ever as this time...her husband was at war and there was that chance of being pregnant as they did have there first time last night, although at the start it did hurt, but Angelica was right about how enjoyable it is. Eliza was already up, she smiles as she cuddles into her husbands chest, she didn’t want for him to wake up because she knew then he would leave, she lied next to him smiling remembering all of the things that happened at their wedding and the fact that she is now married and that she is the first out of her sister to get married, she had always thought that Angelica would get married first since she lived with Thomas for a period of time, but she never known as to why Angelica moved back home.

Elizabeth was smiling until she felt a kiss on her head “Morning Besty” he whispered which made her giggle “Hello my love” she whispered, he leaned down and kissed her softly “What were you thinking about my love?” he asked “How I really don’t want you to go” she whispered honestly which made him sighing knowing exactly as to what she was thinking “I am his right hand man...I won’t get hurt...I am out of the action” he said cupping her face “I know but I can’t help but worry about my husband getting hurt in one way or another” she said “Your my family now...I want you to stay alive” she said gently as she kisses him “and that would enough” she said “Of course my love, I will always come home to you…” he said as he rubs her cheeks.

Elizabeth did not eat the whole day, the feeling of sickness has been with her since she woke up, she had thrown up a few timeless, from the nervousness of her husband going back out to war, of course it was just from the nervous...right. Alexander was in his new office that he had gotten since they now own their own home, he wrote a letter for his wife to read for when she gets back to make her feel some sort of comfort, Eliza knocked on the door and walks into the room “It’s time to go my love” she said as she frowns, Alexander nods “I’ll be there in a bit my love” he said as he finished the letter and gave it to one of the slaves, her puts his hands on her waist “My love don’t frown” he begged “I love your smile my darling wife” he said which made her smile “My loving husband” she whispered as she kisses him softly, Alexander smiles and pulls her closer by her waist, he slowly deepened it and puts his hand on her bum and squeezed it gently “Oh love I want you” Eliza whispered as she ran her hand over his back “I want you too love” he whispered and picked her up, he sets her on his desk and brought up her dress, she held it as he undid his pants, he thrusted into her softly not wanting to hurt her, he kisses her to distract her from some pain, he went in deep as he cups her face, Eliza wraps her legs around him as she kisses him hungrily “Darling I’m close” she whispered as he moves to her neck “So am I love” he whispered, not long after this they both released mixing it together, he kisses her head as he began to clean up the mess, he does his pants again “I love you” he said and smiles as he rubs her hip “I love you too” she whispered which made him grin like an idiot “I am so lucky to have you as my wife” he said which made her blush “I am lucky to have you as my husband” she said, they were interrupted by a knock at the door “The carriage is ready” they heard, Elizabeth frowns and hugs her husband not wanting to let go “Betsy I’ll be fine my love” he said as he held her close “I just don’t want to lose you” she whispered as she snuggled into him “We can ask them to drive slow” he said which made her smile “Please” she said and kisses him.

After the slow drive and the heartbreaking goodbye, the newly wed couple said their goodbyes, which neither party wanted to do but they knew that they would not be able to stop it. Once Elizabeth got home she had a couple of letters, she took them with a heartfelt thanks and went to her room.

Me and your father are writing to make sure that everything is well with you and our son-in-law are both okay, I know that your father does not want to know this bit of information that I am about to ask you but, have you tried to make us a grandchild? If you have I know a bunch of things that you could do to help you get pregnant easily, it helped me out when me and your father were trying to have kids, and thankfully we had you three girls and this unborn child that god graced us with.

Speaking of the baby, the doctor said that the baby might have some...difficulties later on in life because of my age, since women don’t have children at my age without having some sort of problem, when the baby comes I do pray that you have a baby or close to it for the baby to interact with, I fear that other kids which make fun of the baby and I do not want your brother or sister to have to endure that sort of pain.

Eliza laughs happily as she reads her parents letter “Would you like anything Mrs Hamilton?” Sarah, the slave that has been with Elizabeth since she was young, Eliza blushed and looked up “Did I say something to embarrass you Mrs Hamilton?” she asked, she quickly shakes her head “No I just haven’t been called that before” she said which made Sarah nod and “Just some tea Sarah” she said which made Sarah nod and leave, Eliza opened the letter from Peggy.

“Dear Eliza,

Did you get a letter from Angelica? Could you believe what Thomas did? No wonder she has been so heartbroken lately, I mean yes your husband can be a bit of an ass, and a bit embracive but he is not that bad as people say that he is, maybe it is just because Thomas hasn’t gotten to know Alexander, I’m sure when they meet that they will be the best of friends I am sure everything will work out I’m sure of it.

Oh I have some news of my own, me and John left your wedding because...we had sex, and it wasn’t waht I thoguht it was going to be, Angelica made it sounds so enjoyable, but it hurt bad but John was so sweet and went gentle, although he did leave when I was asleep, which was upsetting but I understand since he had to go back to the war, but he is married with a child, Elizabeth am I over my head? I have feelings for him but what of his wife and child? I don’t want to be a homewrecker or called a whore for being with him.

Eliza sighs seeing Angelica’s letter and scared to know as to why Angelica and Thomas are not working out, she picks up the letter and opens the letter scared as to what she is about to read.

“Eliza,

I have to be honest with you, I know lately I have not been the sister that you and Peggy have been needing, but the burden of holding my pain from you and Peggy have been getting too much, especially after the wedding.

Me and Thomas have laid together, more than once, and he said that he loved me, he treated me so good, better than what I felt like I deserved at times, he treated me as though I was a queen and I loved that, he made me feel safe, and loved in a way that my family could not love me.

But the thing is...he does not like Alexander. He does not like the man based on what he has heard, the things that have been said about your husband aren’t the best and so he will not marry me because he does not want to have Alexander around him, I had tried to make him see that Alexander was a good man the I tired to say that we would not have to see him much but...he won’t budge.

It breaks my heart because I am so madly in love with him, I miss being in his arms, I miss him reading to me, I miss the way he looked at, I miss his smile, I miss the way he made me feel, I miss waking up to his face, I miss him terribly.

Eliza tears up feeling horrible that she was mad at Angelica, if she had known the pain her sister was going though then she would have been more forgiving to her if she had known as to what was going on. She wrote a letter to both of her sisters, she then picks up the letter from Alexander and smiles.

“My stunning and loving wife,

Can you believe it? We’re married and I am over the moon about it. To call you my wife, is the best thing to happen to me, to hold you in my arms every night and to wake up to see your beautiful face in the morning when I wake up.

I know you didn’t want me to go, and I have to be honest, I did not want to go myself but I want to fight for our nation and to make it a better world for when we bring children into this world and the next.

I will miss seeing your stunning face, I will dream of you every night as I fight for our nation and for are better world for you my love, life and my light in this world and every world that our two souls meet in.

Eliza smiles happily as she wrote a letter to her husband, Sarah came in with Eliza’s tea and biscuits “Your mother gave me a recipe to use to help you bare children Mrs Hamilton” she said with a chuckle “I would have thought she would allowed a month before that” she said which made Eliza laugh “We know my mother, she hates waiting”
