"Rejoice! John Laurens is back and better than ever! Ha! And y'all thought I was gonna die!" I laughed walking onto the bus taking us back to New York. I sat right next to Alexander who pecked my cheek and cheered. "My boyfriend survived a gunshot, everyone!" He exclaimed and blushed. "And mine won a court case!" Herc yelled.

"Alright, alright, that's what I'm talkin' about!!! How's that for summer!" I yelled, just ecstatic.

I was reunited with Alexander at last, and our relationship was headed forward. This story is coming to an end.

But I know that this summer was just the gateway to more drama.

And I was sure that this squad is going to get through all of it.
