Alexander's POV

You know what? I'm gonna get John back. I know I was a total jerk, and he doesn't deserve me. But the look in his eyes just now told me that he wanted love. And he wants it from me. And Peggy just yelled out to the whole camp that me and John are the OTP. So I decided that tonight is the night. The night I win his affection.

Time Skip to the end of the campfire. The kids left to go to their cabins 2 hours ago because they have a curfew at the camp. Also really? A two hour campfire? I guess.

I saw John sitting by himself by the fire, and saw this as an opportunity to tell him. I ninja'd my way right next to him. "Alexander? I.. What are you doing?" he asked.

"I'm apologizing, and telling you my true feelings. John..." I paused, taking his hand. "I love you. I always did. I had Eliza, but my true feelings were always for you. I am so, so sorry for anything th-" John cut me off by putting a finger on my lip and shushing me.

John's POV

Alexander just said he loved me. And I truly love him back. This wasn't the right spot though. So I decided to take him to the cabin. Once we were there, I decided to forgive him. "Alex. I sincerely forgive you. I love you from the bottom of my heart." I sat down on the bed, right next to him. His face looked more red than... something red, I dunno?? I leaned in to kiss him, because YOLO, amirite? Oh, and I also love him.

He leaned in and kissed me as well. I pulled apart. "Aw, John, why'd you stop?" Alex said, blushing intensely. "Alexander, I love you to death, but we need more time to work on this relationship before we can make out and stuff." I said. Yeah, I know, I'm a party pooper. I can't wait to rebuild the trust between us.
