(ISAACS' POV)

I can't believe I'm out here fighting against the covenants.

Suddenly a small ball of blue energy lands beneath me.

"Aw son of a-" I get cut off by the plasma grenade exploding.

All i see before I black out is the blured image of something kneeling over me.

Time skip

I open my eyes slowly as not to let too much light in.

"Your awake!" A make voice says.

"Where am I?" I ask rubbing my head.

"A cave" he says "about 8 miles away"

"Haven't you called for help yet?" I ask him.

Communication is down, not sure when or if it will be back up" he says.

"Are you sure your ok?" A computerised voice asks me.

"Uhh was that you?" I ask, confused to why I heard a second voice.

"No" he says.

"It was me" the voice says again.

Suddenly the hologram of a small blue woman appears.

"I'm cortana" she says.

"Oh, hello" I say a bit shocked.

"Wait who are you?" I say turning to the spartan.

"I'm the master chief" he says "but you can just call me chief"

"We'll it's an honour chief" I say trying to stand.

"Don't!" He shouts at me causing me to fall.

"Your leg is broken" cortana tells me.

"Who are you" chief asks me.

"Isaac" I tell him "Isaac smith"

Suddenly a strange voice says "the hour of twelve is near"

"Did you hear that ?" I ask.

"Hear what?" Chief and cortana say together.

"Never mind" I say.
