Ezra POV flashback

I was on my first mission with my parents, Caleb and Sarah Bridger, along with their friends Sumar, Ryder and Saw and our trusty AI Mira. We were investigating an unknown signal on a distance planet and so far I was bored. "Man it's quiet around here." I said. "Enjoy it while it last son. It's not many days we get something like this." Dad said. "Ya know I could play some music for you if that will help your boredom Ez." Mira said sarcastically. "Smart-ass" I said. "Ezra" mom said and turned to me, even though her helmet was on I knew she was giving me a glare. "Sorry" I quickly said.

"We're coming up on the signal." Mira said "Alright everyone form up." Dad said. We were walking for a few minutes when we saw a strange looking pod. "What type of pod is that?" I asked. "Well by the looks of the scans its not Covenant or Promethean." Mira said. "I don't like this." I said.

Then a figure came out of nowhere. He was an elite but different he was tall had Supreme leader armor and his skin was black and red. "Stop right there" mom said. He just laughed and activitied a energy sword that looked double bladed and other elite soldiers came out of nowhere then we were attacked by big green bugs. We fought them off but there was to many of them. A elite rushed towards me with a energy sword I got stabbed in the side and fell back taking the elite with me. We fell off a small cliff side. I got out my knife and stabbed him in the neck and grabbed his energy sword and stabbed him in the chest before i blacked out.

I don't know how long I was out but a woke up next to the dead elite I killed. I grabbed my weapons and the energy sword and I realized that I didn't hear any fighting anymore. I made my way back to the where i left off through all my pain and what I saw shocked me. My team on the ground dead. "Mom...dad...Mira" I called out but no one answered. "Ezra....." I heard Miras voice and ran over to the sound. I saw my parents dead on the ground. I fell to my knees and tears went down my face. I grabbed my moms helmet and pulled Miras chip out and put her in my helmet. "Ezra I'm so sorry. I wish I could've done." Mira said. "It's okay. Let's head back to the ship." I said.

Soon I was back at the command ship ship and I was met by my aunt Ahsoka and her friend rex. When Ahsoka saw me exit the ship she had a worried look on her face. I showed her my parents dog tags and she embraced me in a hug. I soon gave my mission report to my superiors but they didn't believe me matter what me and Mira said. Me and Mira were now alone, no friends and no family. But at least we still got each other.
