Narrator POV

The mission briefing for Ezra, Mira and the Ghost crew has begun. "Alright lets go back to the beginning. Two months ago we lost contact with Reklam Space Station. The station was orbiting a Halo ring that was found and doing research on it. The day we lost contact with the station they send a field team down to the surface to study the surrounding area and place beacons. That's when we got this transmission." Mothma said and played the transmission. "Mayday mayday this is Reklam station we are under attack repeat we are under attack unknown enemies coming on the station we need help repeat we need-" "the transmission was cut off but it was sent." Mothma said.

"Was their anything know about a Covenant or Promethean presence in the area or system?" Ezra asked. "Not what we know so far but it could be possible." Mothma answered. "So it's basically a 'clean up and report job'?" Mira said. "Far from it. We need a team to go to the ring and investigate the site before the rest of fleet will be their." Leia said. "Correct. That is why you guys are going ahead of time." Ackbar added. Then what makes the mission dangerous?" Sabine asked. "It's the unknown enemies that attacked the station that makes this dangerous. We don't know what attacked the station or who." Hera said. "Captain Syndulla is correct. For all we know this is an unknown enemy that can be far more dangerous than the Covenant or Prometheans combined. We need you 7 to go check it out before the fleet arrives. Can I count on you?" Mothma said. "You can count on us ma'am." Hera said. "And us too." Ezra said. "Good you all leave in two hours. Dismiss." They all nodded and left.

Ezra was in the shooting range with Mira practicing shooting and waiting until it was time for them to leave. "Alright that's a score of 50 out of 50." Mira said. "Another run and we'll head to the mess hall." Ezra said. "Mind if I join you?" A voice said. Ezra turned around to see Sabine standing their. "Why not I would like a challenge for once." Ezra said and gestured her to come over. "Then I'm the right girl for the job." Sabine smirked and grabbed a gun. "Lets hope so. No one has beaten Ezra in a shooting match before." Mira said. "Is that so than I'll be the first." Sabine said. "Alright first one to 50 wins." Ezra stated and Sabine nodded. "Alright ready....set....go!" Mira said and began the the match.

Holograms of enemies showed up and Ezra and Sabine shot down every one. As they stepped forward more showed up and was quickly shot at everytime. When the timer was went off both Ezra and Sabine stopped firing. Their score was 50 for Ezra and 50 for Sabine. "And a tie wow haven't seen anyone tie Ezra in a long time." Mira said. "Wait has anyone tied you before?" Sabine asked. "Not since-" Mira was about to say but Ezra cut her off. "Mira. that's enough trips down memory lane. Lets head to the mess hall." He unplug Mira from the computer and put her in his head and headed out the room. Sabine followed but was curious about what his past was like.

Sabine grabbed some food and sat next to her crew to talk. "Well how was training with the kid?" Zeb asked "it was curious. He is very well trained but some about him is unclear." Sabine said. "Everyone has secret lets just respect that about him." Kanan said. "Be that as it may. He's a part of our crew now and we need to be on the same level with each other and tell each stuff not be secretive." Hera said. Then Sabine noticed Ezra walking with his food. "Hey Ezra!" Sabine shouted and gestured him to come over.

Ezra was about to ignore it but Mira said "c'mon Ez we're apart of their team we should at least get to know them." Ezra said and went over to sit next to them. "What's up?" Ezra asked. "Nothing we just wanted to get to know you a little bit more." Kanan said. "What do you want to know?" "How many missions have you done by yourselves and how long?" Hera asked. "We have completed 3,550 missions in the last three years." Mira said. "Wow. You sure do keep count." Chopper said. "Mira always keep count and make notes on every mission we do." Ezra said. "How was she created?" Sabine asked. "Mira is half of me and half of my mother. When she was created me and my mom gave her both our DNA signatures and our personality traits." Ezra explained. "Are your parents scientist?" Sabine asked. "They were and they were Spartans. They were the reason I joined the UNSC." Ezra said. "And where are they now?" Zeb asked. Ezra and Mira didn't say a thing the crew and just asked a personal question. Then their coms went off. "Well it's time for us to go." Ezra said and got up. "Huh didn't even answer the question." Zeb said. "Maybe he didn't want to at least not now." Hera said. "Come on lets get going." Kanan said and they got up and left.

They got to their ship the Ghost and prepared to depart. "Ezra." Ahsoka said walking up to him. "Be careful out there and make sure you two work with your team instead of against." She said. "As long as they are as good as they say they are we will be fine." Ezra said. Ahsoka nodded and let him get on the ship.

Ezra walked up the ramp and met the others in the main room. "Ezra welcome to the Ghost. In one way it's a ship and in another way it's our home." Sabine said. "Oh hey Ezra plug me up right here." Mira said excited. Ezra took Mira's chip out and plug her in the panel. "Wow your mainframe is incredible nothing I've ever seen before!" Mira said really excited. "Hey get outta here will ya! This is my work place!" Chopper said coming out of nowhere. "Oh but off! I was just being curious!" Mira yelled. "Alright that's enough! Mira come on back." Ezra said. Mira crossed her arms and glared at Chopper who in return put up two middle fingers. "Chopper!" Hera said and he disappeared. "Alright lets get going." Hera said and took off and went into slip space.
