Ezra and Sabine was walking through the halls and corridors of the station. Sabine noticed that Ezra was uneasy about leaving Mira in the terminal. She knows that those two are kinda close, like brother and sister close and one did not want to leave the other. "You worried about her?" She asked. "Kinda but I know that she can handle herself." Ezra said. After another few moments of silence Sabine spoke up "look, Ezra, *sighs* I sorry again for bringing up your past like that. I was just curious about getting to know you. I was wrong to do that." "It's fine. Talking about the past isn't easy but there are somethings better left unsaid." Ezra said. "I know, even I don't like talking about my past. I did stuff in my past that I regret but I put that behind me." Sabine explained. "What makes you think I didn't?" Ezra asked stopping. "Sorry I-I didn't mean to put it like that. It's just some people hold on to the past some much that they can't let go." She said. They were still walking and Ezra was thinking about Sabines words and how she put them.

Suddenly, Ezra had a feeling that they were being watched and started to look around. He didn't see anything at first until he saw a shape to his and Sabines side. Ezra quickly grabbed his energy sword and as the figure appeared it activated his energy sword. It was a elite. Ezra charged at it and put his energy sword in its chest and it fell to the ground. "The hell! I thought there was no Covenant presence in this system!" Sabine said. "No these aren't Covenant. Look at the armor plating. Its red and black." Ezra explained. Ezra then started to get this edgy feeling like he knew this color from somewhere but couldn't tell. "Hey what's wrong?" Sabine asked concerned. "Nothing. Lets keep moving."

Kanan and Zeb were on there way to the laboratory. "So what are we supposed to find at this laboratory?" Zeb asked. "Anything that can give us any intel about what they found down there on the ring." Kanan answered. They soon found their way to the laboratory and the door was sealed shut. "Really wished Chopper hadn't stayed on the ship." Zeb said. "Mira this is Kanan can you open the laboratory doors down here." Kanan said through his com but their was static. "Something is interfering with our coms." Kanan said. "Well guess we do this the old fashion way." Zeb said and he started to pry the door open with his hands. Zeb got the door opened and they searched the lab. "Alright split up and find anything useful or important." Kanan said. Soon Zeb found something that could not be put in words. "Uh Kanan." Zeb called out and he came over with the same look. "What in gods name."

Ezra and Sabine made to the reactor room and started to look around. What they saw surprised them. They saw blood and marine helmets on the ground. Then Ezra noticed something on the ground. "Sabine look." He said. Sabine came over and saw a marine with his chest opened and his insides were rotten and old. His eyes were rolled in the back of his head and blood came from his eyes, nose, ears and mouth. "What did this?" Sabine asked horrified at the site. "Don't know lets keep moving." Ezra said. They continued to walked through the reactor room to check any signs of anything in there. "Humans! So naive and predictable! Always sending little demons to pick up the mess!" A voice said all around the two. They quickly pulled out there guns and aimed them. "What the hell was that?!" Sabine asked. Then multiple green tentacles came out of nowhere and grabbed them. They tried to fight but the green tentacles just strengthen their grip on them. "Do not struggle! You will only make it worse!" The voice said again. Then a figure came out of the shadows. He was an elite but he was different. He was surrounded by the green tentacles and they were following him after each and every step it took. Then Ezra saw his face and skin. "No!....it can't be!" He shouted. "WHO ARE YOU?!" "I go by many names! But you can call me....Maul!"
