Fred get up from the floor to see Ghost charging at him. Immediately, the Spartan roll to the side to avoid the incoming strike. Fred gets back up and kicked Ghost in the abdomen, firing back after gaining some distance. The rounds of the shotgun simply bounced off the armor of the larger Spartan, as he closes the distance between them. Fred took out his knives to fend off Ghost's fury of slashes. They kept on fighting closer and closer till Ghost uses his hands instead of his blades. Fred thrust one of his knives at Ghost, but the black Spartan caught the blade
with his hand. Upon disarming Fred, Ghost goes for quick slashes and thrust towards the sections of armor where there's none.

Fred dodges these attack, but didn't anticipate Ghost to grab him, hold him up to the air and slam the spartan to the nearby sink. Jane came up behind Ghost to help Fred. She fires two rounds to the joint, but Ghost's frantic movements make the shots difficult. Ghost then slam Jane to the wall behind them, which he then grab the spartan and throw her around the restroom, cracking the walls, sink and stalls of the room. Jane uses her reflexes and kicked Ghost with full force into the wall - which lead him to the girls restroom.

Getting up, Ghost is attacked by Kelly on the sides. The "Rabbit" rushes towards the Spartan-3, jumping up to the air to send a kick to Ghost's face. Ghost stumbles a bit, before being hit by a barrage of kicks and punches from Kelly. Ghost was grunting in pain, but he wasn't down yet. Kelly throws a kick, but Ghost caught her leg and swung her into the toilet. Linda shot Ghost's back, causing the larger Spartan to turn and looked to her.

Ghost walked to Linda as she reload the Magnum. She fires the entire mag into the armor that did almost nothing. Ghost got close and held onto the gun as it fire. Linda try ramming her shoulder to Ghost, but the Spartan-3 grabbed her neck and slammed her to the nearby sink. Jane came up behind Ghost and fire a rocket at centre-mass, sending the Spartan-3 to crash into the wall and out the building.

Ghost crashes onto the floor below. He tried to get up, only to look back and get punched in the face by Jane. Jane walked a couple of steps back as Ghost is recovering from the punch.

Cortana: I think you really pissed him off, Chief

And that statement is true. Ghost tilts both of his helmets to spit out a tooth. The helmets closes with Ghost staring at Jane with anger.

Jane: I'm sorry.

Meanwhile, the other Spartans recover themselves from the blows that Ghost did to them. After getting there weapons, they went to the hole that Jane has made to see their leader being thrown around like a ragdoll and happened to get Ghost into an enraged state. Linda was about to shoot Ghost in the chest, however, Ghost anticipated the movement and send a small car towards her direction, where the other two spartans were.

Kelly and Fred manages to get down, with Linda trying to get the car out of the hole.

While all of the fighting is happening, Cortana have a chat with the AI inside of the armor.

Cortana: I'm gonna need to ask you to stop your Spartan.

???: My Spartan? I'm sorry, but he is his own, I merely help.

Cortana: Then who are you?

???: EWAI-115, or Reaper if you will.

Cortana: EWAI? But, the project was shutdown years ago, wasn't it?

Reaper: Well, "was" is the answer.

Inside the AI room, Reaper guide Cortana inside to his humble home. "Tea", Reaper asked, to which two floating cups of tea appeared before them. Cortana took the tea and went to sit with Reaper near the fireplace - which sees what Ghost is seeing.

Cortana: Kinda comfy, I must say.

Reaper: Why thank you. It's always been a pleasure to let someone like yours truly to have a conversation with.

Cortana: Your just saying things.

Reaper: Well, aren't we all. I'm quite surprised that your made of the mind of the mother of the Spartan project: Doctor Catherine Halsey.

Cortana: So you knew.

Reaper: Based on your records, you have the... Ah, the compassion of the good doctor, if there is any.

Cortana: She is a kidnapper.

Reaper: Your Spartan is a killer.

Cortana: Jane is never meant to be a killer.

Reaper: Really now? How about some of the civilians that she is meant to protect? The children as well.

Cortana: Those were just mistakes.

Reaper: But does she ever rectify these mistakes? Or it is now in her burden?

Cortana: I have no clue. Right now, your Spartan is the Killer!

Reaper: Ghost? He's a killer with good reason...

Cortana: So is Jane!

Reaper: He also have good motivation.

Cortana: Spartan-3s saw their families die in front of their eyes... Oh god, I get what you mean.

Reaper: Mhmm. And now he is seeking vengeance. But if there is one rule he can't break: Separating family or traumatized children, either be Alien or Human.

During the AIs' conversation, Ghost have been battling the Spartans for a while and all of their armor started to show visible cracks.

"We need to come up a new strategy, Chief", Linda grunted.

Chief tries to reassure her teammates, "Don't worry. We won't give up till he is captured".

Ghost's armor was badly damaged, however, it was a lot worst for wear for the Blue team. Their Mjölnir armor can't withstand any longer than it should, yet Jane proposes that they must continue the fight.

Ghost attacked them again with an array of smoke bombs to disorient the Spartans, again. Kelly moved away from the clouds in an attempt to catch Ghost of guard. Meanwhile, Jane told the rest of her teammates to circle around Ghost, but Fred remarks the last few times that they did the exact move, didn't always get the best of results. Jane told Fred to stick to the plan, thinking that Ghost wouldn't just mindlessly attack them.

As the smoke cleared, they saw... Nothing. Ghost wasn't even there to begin with.

Kelly: Where did he go?

Fred: Probably ran off somewhere.

Jane: We can't lose him now.

Linda come closer to the spot where Ghost was and then up to the sky. "Uh, Guys", Linda called out, "I think you may want to see this".

The rest of Blue team looked to where Linda is looking at, to see ashes on the ground and smoke to the sky.

Kelly: He can fly?!

Fred: He can fly.

Jane: We're gonna need aerial vehicles.

Cortana: Don't get too impatient, I got one covered.

Over the building that the Spartans were, a Pelican hovers itself for them to board.

In the skies, the Pelican is currently flying around the area in search of the Ghost. True to his name, Ghost was quite sneaky despite the large statue and size. No matter where they're at, They only went to a location that he's been too - That be a Covenant base of an old military base. However, one thing does stays consistent: If the location is a Covenant outpost/base - Gets destroyed, abandoned or in flames - but if it were to be a UNSC military base - the Scorpion Tank's armor often have holes the size of armor pieces - not to mention the ammunition being missing at times.

It wouldn't be long for them to encounter Ghost, again, in the form of Ghost smacking Elites away with a turret of a destroyed Scorpion.

Kelly: Okay, something's up with this guy.

Fred: You don't have to make it sound obvious.

Kelly: Oh please, it's not like you are always "gentlemen-esq" if you get what I mean.

Jane merely glared at her bickering teammates as she did listen to their conversation. She then looked back at Ghost, who is still attacking the Covenant forces with just the turret.

After smacking the Elites senselessly, Ghost went on a rampage - not that he already is. Ghost slashed, shoots and smashed every Covenant he sees. There are times he even tore of their limbs as a weapon - be it a broken bone or a leg. Each member that fall, He rises. They were all running away from this "Grimm Reaper". Some of the Elites were brave enough to face Ghost, however, their efforts were futile as Ghost slashed off their heads with the swing of his sword.

Blue team followed the trail of destruction and death cause by Ghost, in order to eventually capture him and have the large Spartan being assigned back to the UNSC. The screams of pain and agony produced by the Covenant forces was already too much for one to handle. Some of Blue team members thought that Ghost might be insane, cynical and purely sadistic. However, they discovered more emotions were at play here, that they can hear roars of anger by Ghost as he mercilessly unleashed his wrath upon the unwilling and broken Covenant troopers.

Eventually, Ghost stopped near the edge of the bridge, where the last Elite was killed. The Spartan-3 turned around and began to walk back, only to encounter Blue team once more.

Jane: Stand down, Spartan.

All of the combatants in the area pointed their weapons at each other, waiting for the opportune moment to strike.

Jane: We'll promise to ensure your safety, but that would mean we need your cooperation.

Kelly: [Turns to Fred, then whispers, "You think he'd fall for that"?]

Fred whispered back, "Of course he will".

Jane: You need to come with us.

Ghost's gaze didn't turn. Jane ordered her teammates, Fred and Kelly, to follow her to Ghost, while still behind cover.

Linda looked down her scope inside of an abandoned building. She kept her eye on Ghost ever since she was position in said building. Nothing became of sorts till a buzzing sound was heard. Linda looked around her to find the buzzing noise, however, it was subtle. And then the noise grew louder and louder, Linda turned her head in lighting speed to search for the noise. That's when the noise is in the form of a drone hovering infront of her. Linda immediately drew out her Magnum, point the barrel at said drone and waited.

Back on the bridge, Ghost makes a quick glare to the building that Linda was in. He turned his head back and began to slowly walk backwards, which made Jane and her teammates to follow Ghost. Ghost makes a quick 180 and began sprinting to the ledge of the bridge, causing the other Spartans to rush at him. The drone, that Linda is keeping an eye on, flew away, just as Ghost jumped off the ledge.

Jane jumped after Ghost, just as the drone was closing in on them. With Jane's wright, she manages to latch herself onto Ghost's back, with the drone landing on the former's back as well. Ghost activated his boosters and fly away from the Spartans, but Jane is on his back.

Flying amongst the urban area, Ghost has been fighting Jane while she is on him. They crashed through several vehicles and concrete before stopping into the streets from below. Jane sprint towards Ghost, with him standing on his feet. The Spartan-2 send a punch directly at the chest of the Ghost, using her full momentum to send the latter crashing to a car.

Cortana: Jane, I don't think it's advisable to attack Ghost at this time.

Jane: We must complete the mission.

Cortana: Jane, listen to me! Disengage, now.

Jane hesitate a little. She listen to the pleads of her AI companion, who is telling her not to attack the bigger Spartan before them. Ghost eventually recovered from his crash and stood to see Jane aiming her gun at him.

Reaper: There is a likely chance that Jane-117 would engage.

Ghost merely took a glance behind his back, before smashing the damaged car into 2. Jane woke from the sudden noise, which she opened fire onto Ghost. However, the spartan took the destroyed car and used one of its half as a shield. Jane fired round after rounds into the car, but it only cause holes to form.

Jane immediately engaged Ghost with the MAC that she's holding, attempting to push the car's momentum to that she may knock Ghost out. However, it became more difficult than she first realize as soon as Ghost pounds her to the ground. He kept on pounding the car into her till both parts were scrap. Ghost then went to grab Jane's neck with one arm and punched her with another, but Jane divert the punch to the solid ground. She then uses both of her arms to bring Ghost's head down, to which she then get herself on top of Ghost.

During the ensuing fight, Blue team manages to find Jane and Ghost, which the former is currently having the upper hand . Ghost is then slammed to the ground, with Jane crawling on top of him, moments later. She uses her weight on top of Ghost's head and arms to, hopefully, subdue the Spartan.

Jane: You need to give in Ghost. You can't get away from this.

What jane didn't account for is the thrusters were already primed. A simple burst of thrust was enough to knock Jane off her feet - allowing Ghost to rise up. By then Linda fired a shot at Ghost's back - but nothing happened. Ghost turned around and shot a missile at them. Luckily, the Spartans reacted quick enough to jump out of the missiles strike.

Jane then came to strike Ghost again, but the larger Spartan makes a turn to catch the incoming fist and pushed her off balance.

Jane reunited with Blue team, all facing Ghost.

Kelly: What did we missed?

Jane: Not much.

Fred: Other than the fact that he through you around?

Jane: Yes.

Linda: What's the plan Chief?

Just before Jane about to say something, Ghost fired his missiles. They didn't hit them. The spartans traced the smoke all the way to the bridge above them.

Jane: Run!

Blue team and Ghost sprinted away from the falling rubble, pieces of debris falling on top of everything - crushing the vehicles and the unfortunate.

After running for what seemed like hours, the structure have finally fallen to rubble and ruin. Blue team looked back at the fallen structure to see some covenant troopers - How convenient. Before long, the Elites were the first to wake from their apparent knock out. Jane ordered Kelly to follow her, while Fred and Linda deal with the Covenant.

Running into a building, Jane and Kelly thought this was the end of the line for Ghost. However, upon reaching a dead end, they soon came to realize that there are now two figures.

The first of the two made a mad dash towards Jane and Kelly. The large figure crashed into Jane, before the spartan ordered her teammate, "Get him". With this in mind, Kelly sprinted after the other figure, while Jane fought off the Outer suit.

Kelly races through the building as she did her best to catch up with her "prey". Kelly is the fastest human alive and the most nimble, but that doesn't necessarily meant that she can out-maneuver a small man. Yet, she continued her pursue as her speed gave her the edge needed to send the other Spartan off course... And into a paint store.

The store was full of fresh paint and cans, ready to be bought - but have to close during the war.

Kelly entered the store, while keeping her guard up - she doesn't want Ghost to sneak up on her and ran. Kelly mostly kept close at the entrance, eyeing on where Ghost might be and see whether the Spartan was dumb enough to crash through the glass to escape. However, that didn't happen. Instead, Kelly make a quick turn, only for white paint to cover her visor. Kelly tried to wipe the paint off her visor, before a paint can was slammed on her. Then her gun, as well as another, was discharged, firing on almost every paint can imaginable - covering the spartans in brightly colored paint.

Meanwhile, Jane ran away from the Larger figure as a means to find more weapons other than her fist - since her ammo have dried - to, at least, temporarily disable the figure's system. Jane ran through the mall to find Kelly, while meeting up with Fred and Linda.

Fred: Kelly's chasing Ghost?

Jane: Had to. They must've been far.

Fred: What are the odds of us finding Kelly before Ghost?

Not long after, Kelly was sent flying out of the paint store and landed near Blue team - still having the paint can stuck to her head.

Fred: Well, ain't you a sight for sore eyes.

Kelly: [Muffled] Oh shut it Fred! At least you're not covered in paint and have a can over your head!

It was backed up by the fact that Kelly's armor seemed to be painted - although that is not surprising. Eventually, Linda helped her teammate, by removing the can from her head and wiping off the paint on Kelly's visor.

Linda: Good as new.

Jane kept her eye at the paint store, waiting for Ghost to reveal himself. And he did, only to run away. Jane soon ran after Ghost herself.

Jane chased Ghost through the mall, jumping off ledges, sliding through the lowered doors, smashed into windows; never stopping her momentum to catch up with him. It was a long chase, which they eventually reached a construction site. The two started to climb the structure, their every footstep creek the beams supporting the frame. When they reached the top, Jane only needed to stall in order for her teammates to back her up.
