When Khovu finally was allowed to take Ann home, he did. They spent the whole day together. They did fun, simple activities together. This was mostly because Ann wasn't allowed to do anything crazy for about two weeks or so. Her body was well enough to be released out of the hospital, but not to be fully recovered. She was pretty close to being recovered, but not quite.

"What do you want to do?" Khovu asked smiling. "Today is your day, my love. We can do whatever your heart desires."

Ann thought for a moment.  She didn't really have anything in mind. "Want to just eat and relax together?" She suggested innocently.

Khovu smiled, "Great idea. What would you like to eat?"

"Anything really. I could eat a whole horse."

Khovu raised an eyebrow, "I have known you well enough to know that that is a human saying, but I do not understand why it is a saying. It can be..." He thought, as he tried to find the right word for it, "interesting at times..."

Ann couldn't help but giggle, "I know, but they're fun to say. You have to admit that."

He chuckled, "Yes. It can be." He then added thoughtfully, "Would you like some cereal? Or something else? I do not know what you are allowed to eat."

She sheugged, "Luckily anything really."

"How about... Bacon, eggs, and toast?"

Ann lit up with joy, "That would be wonderful! Thanks!" Then piped up, "Can I help with anything?"

Khovu couldn't contain himself from chuckling once more, "It is alright, Ann. Today is your day. You can just relax."

As much as Ann didn't want to do that, she listened to him anyways. She decided to close her eyes on the couch for a little bit. She accident my started drifting off into her own little world. Her eyes grew heavy as they closed, and she could hear the real world no more.
