The man took the teenager and the lady took the girl and ran off.

"I shall deal with him, and you can get the young child." Khovu spoke calmly to Ann. He figured the human girl would be more afraid of him than her older sister would be. Afraid still, maybe, not as much as her sister.

Ann nodded, agreeing to the short, thought out plan as she raced to go rescue the younger girl. She ran as fast as her legs could carry her. A blue beam shaped as a ball formed on and around her hands, as she chased the woman down.

She had lost them. Where could they be...? She thought to herself as she started panicking. She couldn't believe how she lost them. They turned the corner, and then they seemed like they disappeared. She hoped they didn't actually disappear.

Khovu was fighting the unknown human man. His problem was that he didn't want to kill the human. Just like most good Sangheili, they kill only when necessary. Which this wasn't necessary. He knew the laws and rules of Earth, with Ann's help, and he wasn't planning on breaking them.

The young teenage girl watched as they fought. Afraid of who would win, and who would lose. She wanted to help. She had tried, but failed. The man obviously had more training in fighting than she did. She took Kunfoo, which was the only type of fighting she knew. Though she knew what to do, she called the police.
