Planet Urdak Underground Bunker

The milky way galaxy is about to be cleanse, a parasite entity called the flood is consuming every life and mutating them into their hivemind.

Urdak is the last bastion for remaining forerunner survivors when their heard that the super weapon halo is about to be fired, so they Feld for safety only to be followed by the flood.

the Soldiers are holding the line, shooting the flood defending the bunker until everyone is in stasis pods.

a forerunner soldier shot a corrupted forerunner in the head putting it out of it's misery.

but many of the flood keep coming so they had to seal the bunkers.

Forerunner: VEGA seal the bulkheads!

A forerunner Monitor hovered to the control panel.

the bulkhead doors has sealed keeping them out.

the survivors and soldiers breathe for relive as they made it.

the forerunner took his helmet off to wipe off the sweat.

his name is Maykr-Of-The-Remnant or Y/n giving to him by a female human soldier who was a prisoner of war, and only the first human to talk to before she passed away.

now he's checking on everyone as Vega hovered near him.

Y/n: How many have we lost?

Samur: the Flood have destroyed approximant 300.000 Life pods.

Y/n opens a pod and sees a forerunner corpse that had killed itself.

he grieved for the corpse.

VEGA: ALERT! North-side Bulkhead cannot be sealed. Hostiles detected.

y/n puts his helmet back on

Y/n: North-side has been breach, all forces to the north!

the forerunner squads heads to the north of the bulk head.

The soldiers were waiting for orders when one of the soldier walked with Y/n.

the soldier walks to his pod, y/n walks to VEGA.

Y/n: VEGA, Broadcast the stasis readiness signal to all lifepods.

VEGA: And the refugees who have yet to reach the bunker?

Y/n felt regret and shame and many people will not survive.

Y/n: Their sacrifice will be honoured in the coming empire

but the bulkhead was breached and the flood flooded in.

Y/n turns his attention the survivors.

Y/n: GO I'LL HOLD THEM OFF!

The survivors evacuated with the remaining soldiers as y/n pulled out his weapon and hold the line.

After y/n hold of the enemies he head back to the rest of the survivors but they weren't there.

Y/n: VEGA what's the location of the survivors?

VEGA: they took an alt route and lost, you must head to the Pod I'm sealing the bunkers the halo is ready to fire.

Y/n: No just give me a few minutes!

VEGA: No the bunker is falling. there's no other option.

Y/n: there still out there, those soldiers are still alive!

VEGA: Their sacrifice will be honoured in the coming empire, get to your lifepod now!

Y/n grieved in anger that more people has to die, he heads to his lifepod and climbs in it and saw the pod's doors closing.

VEGA: the halo array firing in 3... 2... 1

The ring fired, wiping out any life within the radius of the system.

in the different systems the rings fired wiping out all life including the flood.

y/n closed his eyes and felt like he failed as the pod shake of the weapon cleansing the bunker destroying the lost souls.

Y/n: What's left of it, a few hundred people, How am I able to rebuilt an empire from that?

VEGA: Further adjustments may be necessary. the bunker's sensors are damaged.

Y/n: So we just freeze forever?

VEGA: Negative the pod your in is reprogramed by me so that can protect you, but automated reactivation is not an option, you will remain in stasis until a new culture discovers this bunker. This may lead to power shortage.

Y/n: NO DO NOT SHUT OFF THOSE PODS I NEED THE FEW THAT ARE LEFT!

Y/n was meatily and physical exhausted to further argue.

the pod puts him in stasis while on the surface, life is being vaporised none were speared.

Now planet Urdak is now a planet with no life only ruins of the past.

Now it's only a mater of time for the rise of the Maykr-Of-The-Remnant.
