We see all of them return back to the old Freelancer base as Lennox lands the Prowler down at the same landing pad and once landed they all exit out and at first they were confused on why they are back here.

Grif: So um why are we back here?

Simmon: Yeah we been here before right?

Carolina: Yes but I think Angel might tell us where the director might be at.

Washington: But isn't she the one that told us about CT's location and they she might know

Carolina: Indeed but wr have this.

She pulls out the data that they have gotten from the helmet of CT as she gose on to say.

Carolina: I bet we can install this to Angel and she can go through the file and maybe we can she might locate the Director.

Y/n: Why not Watcher do it? I can insert him into the data and maybe he can-

Church: Hey how's about you let us handle this okay. You did enough for us.

Y/n: Wow Church I'm only just helping.

Church: Yeah I think you did enough.

Then they walk off leaving the rest confused by this while Y/n is seems hurt which South walks up to him.

South: You okay?

Y/n: Yeah I'm fine.

Sarge: Well that was a bit harsh.

Simmon: Well you know sir he is Church plus he doesn't really get along with Watcher so maybe that's why?

Tucker: No way man! I thought Church was on our side as he keeps an eye on Carolina.

Tucker: Well Church agree to us to keep an eye on Carolina and report back to us if anything happens and now.....there's nothing.

There were silent about this until South can't take it anymore and tells Y/n.

Y/n decided this has to end so he gose to find Carolina and Church and after a while he walk up Carolina and Church as they were just waiting for Angel to finish downloading which was a chance as he clear his throat.

Y/n: Carolina.....we need to talk.

Carolina: No just the location if the Director were to hide if UNSC was tracking him down.

After a while of waiting Angel is done as she show them all screen shots of the planet and the base.

Angel: This planet is far off UNSC space and currently there is someone already there and it seems he is been there for a long while.

Carolina: Good. We found him.

Church: So now what?

Carolina: We end this.

(A while later)

Carolina gather everyone around near the Prowler and once everyone is gathered Carolina informs them all.

Carolina: Alright listen up! We have some big news.

Caboose: You forgive Y/n and decided to marry him? Knew it.

Church: No. We found the Director.

Then Church size was a normal size as human which surprised eveyrbody but Washington asked.

Washington: (surprised) Wait you found the Director?

Carolina: That's right.

Church: He's holding on at one of the Freelancer bases just like this one and many others but this one is twice as big.

Carolina: And we haveno idea what he has in stored for us once we arrive here so here is the plan.

Grif: Plan? What plan?

Carolina: To take down the Director.

South: Wow wow wow holf on a minute there! The deal was to find the Director and report this to the UNSC and ONI.

Simmons: Yeah and we found him, let's call the UNSC and ONI and jobs done! Great job eeveyone.

Carolina: The plan is change.

Y/n: What?! That wasn't part of the deal we made Carolina!

Carolina: What is even the point. You know how corrupt ONI is. If they arrest them, their bound to allow him to work for him which will make things worse.

Maine: So what is your idea Carolina?

Carolina: Infiltrate tbe base, take out enemy troops and get to the Director.

South: So we're your destruction then?

Carolina: No, South, Maine and Washington will be with me while Y/n and Lennox stay at the Prowler.

Caboose: So we be fighting all the enemy soldiers ourselves.

Grif: Fuck that.

Maine: He may have make me a beast but I did terrible things while I was the Meta. I've killed so many people and after I was freed....I was giving a new purpose to fight now thanks to Y/n and the rest. I have no reason to take revenge on the Director anymore.

Grif: Well if they not in, then I'm the same.

Carolina: Shut up Grif! That is an order.

Church: Forget about Grif. He always quits wheh it comes to battle.

Sarge: I'm not gonna come.

Church: (shocked) What?!

Sarge: Don't give me wrong I love fighting and battles but if we're gonna be treated like dummies so you both can get yoru revenge, then I'm out.

Simmon: Same here sir.

They all gone silent as he gose up to Carolina and Church and tell them both.

Y/n: Listen you two, if they don't want to take part of this then so be it. We are not you or any machines so you can just throw us into battle just so you can get you two's revenge. There was silence for a long while as Carolina and Y/n look at each other ans Carolina was about uo say something when Church appear covered in red in anger as he gose on to tell him.

Church: (anger) Are you fucking kidding me! After everything that has happened, after everything we did your gonna turn your back on us!

Y/n: Church calm down.

There was silence when Y/n snapped at Church and Church  was stunned on what he said but he wasn't done as he gose on to say.

He then turn to Carolina and just exploded to her.

Y/n: (anger) Carolina I am truly so so sorry for not saving your mother! Really I am sorry! She was the best solder I have ever met and she told me so much about you and told me so much about your happy life and how she miss you and your father! After her death I blame myself for her death and I know her death will hurt you so much! Thqt is why there was some money sent to your father and you so you can have a better life knowing that your mother fought hard for the family and the colony she lived in! Suddenly she remembered the mail that arrived and it was filled with money which Carolina realised this. To show how frustrated and sorry he was, he took off his helmet and they all see the anger, sadness, guilt and regret on his faceas he tells them both.

Y/n: (anger) I want to save people's lives. I really, really do what to save peoples lives and be like my brother John-117. I still miss him and now......I don't even know if he is alright now because I am here! Bring wanted for a treason from ONI while my brother is probably worried about me and all I ever wanted is to clear not just my name but all of our names! Your team has a new life Carolina and I'm sorry that some aren't alive to join the UNSC like York but....sometimes in life.....you need to accept it and not drag anyone to your revenge while also blaming anyone for what happened in the past. Your mother wouldn't want to see you turn out like this Carolina....she wants you to live a happier life....without Project Freelancer or your father.

After that he simply just turn and walk away as everyone watch him walk off while they never seen Y/n anything like this in their lives but now.....they have.

Church turns back to normal and see what he has done try to call out to Y/n.

Church: W-Wait Y/n come on man! Please we can sort this out.

Tucker: What is there to sort out?

Church turn to Tucker who just glare at him and just simply tell him.

Tucker: He risk his life for all of us, especially you. No wounder he and John are similar, they are so much about humanity will feel regret if one of them die right in front of them. Especially those who have families.

Then Tucker leaves along with Caboose and Doc.

Sarge: I respect Y/n and his brother. I may have lead my team into the front lines but Y/n was really the one who lead us to the front lines and I respect him. No offence Simmons.

Simmons: No sir your right. He's not just a soldier....but a friend.

Grif: Yeah. We rather stay here while you two go and settle things with the Director.

Then the recs left as Carolina turns to Maine, Washington and South but Maine and South left while Lennox walks up to her and tell her while he glare at her.

Lennox: If you want you can take the Prowler and go get your revenge. Don't bother giving I back though, we don't want it.

He then walks off while Carolina just thinks about everything that has happened and see know what she has done.

Washington: I don't know what's gone into you ,Carolina. But you better figure out the difference between your enemies, and your friends.

Once that he make his leave with now it was just Carolina and Church as Carolina was shaking for the time ever but it wasn't rage nor fear.....but it was guilt. Guilt that she let all her anger, frustration and sadness put it all out on Y/n for something that he try to save but fail and now.....this was the result of it.

Still he enter the Prowler while both her and Church were silent as once inside they take off which we see Y/n on top of the hill watching them go as Watched appears on his shoulder.

Watcher: You okay man?

Y/n:.......No....No I'm not.

He sat down, placing his helmet beside him while his mind was going everywhere as he look at his hand and it was shaking as he slowly makes it a fist and punch the ground in frustration. Then a hand grabs his fist as South sat down next to him to comfort him.

South: It's gonna be okay Y/n. We're here for you.

Y/n: Why? Church is right. If i hadn't saved Allison.....none of this....wouldn't have happened.

South: No it wasn't your fault. None of thid isn't your fault. You may have fail to save Allison but our lives would be different if you did. True, you can't just change the past but.....we make a better future. A future far more better then the past.

Y/n looks at South and nods to her. Soon everyone else join in as he stood up and turn to everyone.

Y/n: Hey guys, sorry that you have to see that.

Tucker: No sweat man. We know you have to put your foot down and make them shut the hell up.

Doc: Yeah, you let your guilt drag you down all these years and now you have enough of the blame and climbed out of your guilt and show her that everything wasn't your fault.

Caboose: Yeah and we're best friends! Best friends never blame each other.

Grif: Sometimes.

Y/n: (smile) Thanks you guys.

Lennox: So....now what?

Y/n looks at his helmet on his hand and looks at his reflection and knew he can't let the same mistake happen to Carolina as well so he puts on his helmet and tell them all.

Y/n: We're going to help Carolina and Church.

Washington: You sure about this? After everything they did and how they broke the deal?

Y/n: That maybe true Washington but it's my duty as a Spartan to protect human lives what ever the cost. Even if Carolina still blames me for what happened to Allison many years back, I can't let that same mistake happen to Carolina or Church as well. So you guys wanna stay here and do nothing? Or do you all wanna suit up and save the day.

There was silence from everyone as Washington tells Y/n.

Washington: This has to be the worst idea, ever........................but you can count on me in.

South: (smile) Same here.

Maine: Me too.

Everybody was also in on this as Y/n put on his Spartan helmet as Simmons points out.

Simmons: But how can we get to them? They took our onkly ride. There is no way to get to them on time.

Johnson: (speaker) Someone needed a pickup?

Suddenly a condor came up behind them as they turn to see Johnny as he wave to them and turn the Pelican around to let them all in.

Melanie: Nice to see you Y/n. How was your long trip?

Y/n: (smile) Good. Nice to see you Melanie.

Melanie: (smirk) Same to you. Remember our date once this over.

Y/n: (smirk) Copy that.

Johnson: Hey ain't all of ya not gonna say something to me??

Y/n: (chuckle) Of course. Good to see you Johnson, thanks for the pickup.

Johnson: (smirk) No problem sonny. Now, where do you want to go?

Y/n: (smirk) To these coordinations Sargent. It's time we end this search once and for all.

Johnson nods as Y/n set up the coordinations and once that they take off to follow Carolina and Church and help them take down the Director and end this hunt and project Freelancer for good this time, once and for all.
