Three weeks later...

Zeus arose from his slumber to hear an all call going out:

"Colonel Makara to the bridge. Make sure you wear your dress blues."

It had been three weeks with his fight with Asher, and he had recovered from all of his bruises and the two stab wounds in his chest. Asher, on the other hand, died that day and never rose again. Shortly after Zeus killed Asher, Z killed the leader of the Vipers, and the remains of them were snuffed out in the days following.

Zeus noticed Riley and Peter were missing from their beds as he freshened up and shaved his face. He traced the scar on the left side of his face, and frowned.. That would forever be a reminder of Asher's hatred for him. 

"I like it, it makes you look more tough and handsome," Riley said, a couple days after Zeus got out of recovery.

Riley. He remembered how Asher had threatened to torture her and how it drove Zeus harder to fight for her. Whenever he thought about Riley, his skin tingled. His heartbeat quickened. His body shook. He was in love with her, and she with him.

"Oh, well, I'll guess I'll have to catch the two of them on the flipside after I meet with the commanders."

He finished getting ready and walked out the door and into the hallway. Strangely, the hallway was empty. This never happened unless the ship was on full alert. He quickened his pace, and rushed to the bridge.

To his surprise, when he opened the door, he saw every person in the ship on the bridge. 

And in the middle, he saw Commander Akasutchi and Riley in a white wedding gown. She smiled at him, and his heart temporarily stopped.

"Well, Colonel, are you coming down here, or am I going to have to get Derek to carry you down here?" Akasutchi said, and the whole room, including Zeus, erupted in laughter.

Zeus walked quickly down the aisle to the spot that was right beside Riley.

"Do you, Riley, take Zeus to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I  do." she said, beaming with confidence.

"And do you, Zeus, take Riley-"

"Yes, I do."

"Then, if no one objects, you may now kiss the bride." Akasutchi closed the book and Riley and Zeus kissed, and Peter cheered really loud. The whole room followed.

Harvest's Surface, the city of Arcadia

"Howdy, you three," Tai said as Zeus, Riley, and Peter walked into a building to see about getting a house built. "I never thought I'd see you again."

"We're just looking to settle down here peacefully, and if Harvest needs protectors, then we will be here to defend it." Zeus said.
