Peach's POV:
Over the intercom Colonel Mehaffey orders the Hastati squad to her office. 'What is going on?  Gods I hope Laskey and Vickors didn't get into another fight.' I think to myself .
I meet up with my team outside of Colonel Mehaffey's office.  "Peach do you know what's going on? " Thomas asked me.  "Not a clue.... Did you and Vickors get into another fight?" I ask.  "No we didn't." Thomas tells me.  Soon we all get pulled into her office.  
"After the last training session where Peach intervened in the bickering between Cadet Laskey and Sullivan and came up with a good battle strategy.. April thought it would be best if Peach became the Squad's captain instead of herself. "Mehaffey stated. The  squad talked between themselves and turned to me nodding their agreement.  "I only have one question for April... Why me?" I asked her.  
"I chose you because YOU are literally the only person who can keep Vickors and Thomas inline and after your battle strategy yesterday I'm more than sure that you could lead this team better than i ever could. " April states. "Very well I accept the position. "I tell them. But my mind goes back to the nightmare i had.
