As a loud crash echoed inside a police station as a UNSC ODST drop pod appeared as the roof above had a massive hole in it as the hinges of the pod flew forward killing a unfortunate walker as a figure appeared holding his M7 caseless Smg and giving a good look of where he was he was surprised that he didn't know where he was, but he knew he was inside a police station.

As he walked out as a zombie police tried to bite him only for the rookie to pull out his M6C/SOCOM magnum pistol and pulled the trigger on the walkers head blowing its brains out, once it was dead he pulled the corpse off him and proceeded to the next room and clearing any walkers along the way.

Once the building was cleared of the undead, he shot the door handle off to where the police weapons were and opened it and pulled out a Remington 870 police 12 Gauge shotgun and loaded it and grabbed all the rounds remaining inside (64, 12 Gauge shotgun rounds) and put most in his ammo pockets and some into his pouch, before walking out and cocking the shotgun, and headed out.

(A few hours before everything went to hell)

As rookie arrived to the school he noticed a bunch of teens and an adult fighting around a bus and joined in. The students who around the bus who were killing the walkers, noticed the ODST coming with a Police 12 gauge shotgun shooting anything that remotely comes close where losing their heads... so when called for him to get on hole didn't waste any time and hoped on and noticed another group he pulled out a frag  grenade pull the pin and threw it releasing the trigger as it flew into the air, the teacher who saw it didn't have to react before it exploded killing a few and wounding the others as only four other students got on and thank the ODST with their gratitude.

Then the bus started to move and the ODST took
A seat and checked his Ammunition while the students were talking or coming up with a plan, of course with the Rookie's help in their survival... so when the bus stopped, everyone was confused, until the Soldier ordered everyone out, once they got off just in time for a bus on fire filled with the dead, which crashed into the bus with exploded into a huge fire burning the dead inside. 

Rookie sighed in relief before getting everyone moving again hoping that one would have a "safe house" somewhere else, but knowing that the dead would be everywhere, now would be better than later...

(Later that night)

Rookie stood up, holding a M2010 U.S. Sniper rifle with a silencer attached to the rifle. As he carefully looked around the street with the scoop, when he noticed a man with a little girl and a puppy, and a horde of the dead blocked by a bushes, and a steel fenced gate. So without making a noise, jumped out the balcony and landed on the rooftop before moving out, and switched for the M7s Caseless Submachine Gun and once he got close enough, though he was too late to save the little girl's father, but he did pick up the girl and the puppy and pulled himself to the roof again, just enough time before the gate buckled against the horde as it snapped and the dead flooded in before the door where the unfortunate family found themselves food for the dead.

As the Rookie made it back everyone in the apartment building who survived from the school attacked, watched him walk back with the girl and the puppy, before he gave them to the former school nurse and students before climbing over and began preparing to leave the area not wanting the attract more walkers, then rookie had already done...
