certainly wasn't herself.
she didn't even have her own spirit.

where will she go now?
strangled in her own bed sheets.
laying in an empty bed,
an empty room.
oh clueless little girl roaming the empty house.
who did she enter as?
on a warm august night,
who did she think she was?
in this abandoned house.
this house suffocated with beasts.
naive little girl,
playing with ruthless monsters,
beautiful creatures.
beasts who will kill you with their own hands.
she died by their hands,
by their handcrafted weapons.
cutting off the air circulation,
quite a cruel way to die.
not quite peaceful.
she gracefully tossed and turned in her own bed sheets.
laying on a hardly kept together mattress.
she died by their hands.
the hands with nails she has painted.
the hands with bleeding wounds she has healed.
the hands with scars and their stories.
the hands with fingers clenched at her throat.
she can't breathe.
she hasn't been able to breathe since she stepped into this empty room.
no, not the empty house,
that haunted room.
naive little girl,
playing with ghosts.
monsters who only want her soul.
she leaves the house as a cruel beast.
what has she become?
no longer herself,
she roams around the house.
clueless to herself yelling at her to wake up.
she died in her own bed sheets.
she died by her own hands.
oh such a naive little girl,
suffocating in her own bed sheets.
blind to her destruction.
blind to her destroying herself.
her eyes are empty,
as she lays in an empty bed,
in an empty room.
within that empty house she lays rotten.
she couldn't breathe anymore,
her actions strangled her,
clueless to her moving hands.
