The Haunted Story

Halloween is fast approaching, and the decorations, scary movies, and festive atmosphere have inspired you to write a Halloween story with a horrifying monster. But as you write, you start noticing something...off.

Everytime you step away from your keyboard, words you didn't write start appearing in the story. At first you think they're just typos, but it just keeps happening.

Soon, you realize that the odd words are forming a message. But what is it trying to say? And who...or what...is writing it?

Guidelines:

Word count: Maximum 500

Stories must adhere to the Wattpad Guidelines.

Only stories written in English.

Only one entry per author.

Must be original work written specifically for this contest.

No mature works.

Story must be published as a separate work or as a chapter in an anthology (must provide link to specific chapter in submission form)
