The contest will be hosted from October 1st to 31st, 2022. All entries must be submitted by October 31st, 11:59 PM CEST (Central European Summer Time).

🎃 Winners will be announced at the end of November.

Guidelines

🎃 Entries written in Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, English, Hindi, German, Portuguese, Sinhala, Swedish and Thai are accepted.

🎃 Entries must be relevant to the chosen prompts.

🎃 Entries must be one shots and originally written for this contest.

🎃 Entries written as one shots must be within the range of 1000 - 5000 words. Entries written for poetry can have a maximum of 500 words.

🎃 Mature entries are allowed (It's Halloween after all!). Please rate your entry according to Wattpad's Content Guidelines.

🎃 Entries must have correct punctuation, use proper spelling and have an overall good finished quality.

🎃 Entries can be tagged with #HalloweenVault2022.

🎃 Entries can be published as a standalone or in an existing anthology. If you publish your entry in an existing anthology, please add the chapter link in the submission form.

🎃 LGBTQ+ is welcome.

🎃 Only one entry per user is allowed.

🎃 Entries must be submitted through this FORM. We also encourage you to share your story's link in the comments section afterwards.
