WattSupernatural presents: The Ultimate Hunter Exam

Hello and welcome, trainees, to the Hunter Exam!

Hold your horses - we know that exams aren't always fun, but this is important.

This, right here, is where we teach you babies and noobs about our world, the real world, and the monsters that inhabit it. We'll teach you what to expect from them, and, essentially, how to kill them.

Now, we won't be able to cover everything today. There are all manners of monsters from all kinds of places and cultures that run amok in great numbers, and sometimes you might even encounter new hybrids we wouldn't even know what to do with thanks to Eve. We call those Jefferson Starships, by the way, because they're horrible and hard to kill.

By the end of this exam, our goal is to make sure that you'd at least be able to put up a good fight against some of the monsters out there. Let's be real - even after learning about them, actually killing monsters is a whole 'nother story. So first, let us test your knowledge on what you might already know.

Below is a list of monsters and some descriptions - it'll be your task to properly match the creature or monster with the descriptions. First thing about hunting - know what you're hunting. Going for a hunt, blind, is a deathwish. Once that's done, we'll get into the fun stuff and teach you how to kill them!

1) These tattooed humanoid creatures feed on human blood, and are able to poison their victims with but a single touch. Their poison is powerful enough to kill a victim quickly, but it can also leave victims in a sort of deep sleep or coma-like state to be fed on for a prolonged period, and during this they dream about their perfect lives. Right before the creatures attack, their eyes glow blue, though by the time people notice it's already too late.

2) Traditionally, these creatures live in cemeteries or graveyards, and feed on the blood and flesh of the deceased, but some prefer a fresher diet and go for live food. In addition to being physically stronger and faster and having enhanced senses compared to humans, they also have the ability to transform into any human they've fed off of, dead or alive, and obtain the memories of the person. This lets them easily fit into society, and we wouldn't even know it.

3) Considered to be the cousins of werewolves, these canine creatures share some similarities. Both have infectious bites, are able to shift into an animal, and feed on human hearts. The one characteristic that makes these creatures different from werewolves is that they are able to transform into their animal form at any given time, whereas a werewolf's transformation is dependent on the moon's cycle.

4) They are creatures of the night, are able to live forever, and were once humans. They feed on blood, but it has to be from a live victim. Blood taken from a dead source becomes toxic to these creatures when consumed. Although their food doesn't necessarily have to be human blood, it is preferred as animal blood isn't as appealing to their palette. Along with having enhanced physical abilities and senses, they can regenerate as long as they have blood, and are very, very sneaky.

5) These monsters' true forms are hidden. They appear to be just regular people, going on about their days, but beneath it all is a secret. From their wrists they have a retractable spike, which is used to pierce an area behind a victim's ear to easily get to their brain fluids to eat it. This also allows them to induce insanity or mental instability within their victims by raising their dopamine levels, but they also can do the latter with a mere touch. The spike can be used as a weapon, but is fragile. Their true forms, grotesque creatures with ravaged faces, are revealed by mirrors. So if you see an ugly face, sometimes it isn't rude to run away.

6) Intangible feminine entities in dark robes, with sunken eyes and dark flowing hair, covered in a dark mist. These spirit-like creatures aren't all evil, but it's not the good ones people need to worry about. They are able to fly and camouflage themselves with the mist that surrounds them, and have a long tongue that was specially designed to eat the brains of their victims. They are also able to produce a high pitched shriek. For the non-evil kind, this cry serves as a warning of an impending death, but if they are of the malevolent kind this scream forces humans to bash their heads, making them commit suicide and essentially serving up their brains for them.

7) Once human, they've transformed into monsters after being forced to turn to cannibalism in order to survive. Once transformed, they are granted superhuman strength, speed, and agility, enhanced senses to the point of being able to see perfectly in the dark and accurately hear sounds around them. They grow large claws for attacking, become immortal and mostly invulnerable to most knives and guns, and perhaps the scariest of all are able to mimic the voices of humans in order to lure their prey. Pair all of that up with having human intelligence and you've got a near-perfect hunter.

Once you know what you're up against, it's time to find out the monster's weakness and how to kill it. Now, there's no way around this — you will have to do your research for this part. Being a hunter isn't just about stabbing or burning creatures, it's also about hitting the library and gathering information.

Below, you will find a selection of monsters and a few methods that might or might not end them. Only one of the given options presents the most common way of killing each individual one of them.
