The arc light's p.o.v.

Quinton sighed. He sighed so very deeply. He was not a party type. He was that kind of guy who was not interested in the most beautiful lady or be a beautiful male, like Quattro sees himself. No Quinton had nothing against being who he was, a scientist. A person who was interested in knowledge and nothing more. Of course he could and would conversate with a lady, if they had something to conversate about. Not like these ladies, these girls, who cared more about boys and their own beauty, than a knowledgeable conversation. He sighed again. He was at the food table drinking a little punch and keeping an eye on everything. Why had his father insisted that he was going as well? It was something like "Quinton do you really think it is a okay thing, to let your siblings go all by themselves. They would end up in trouble in no times". Quinton couldn't argue with that. When his siblings had made their flashy entry, Quinton had facepalmed so many times, that his forehead was hurting a little. However at least Kite was here. He could get some decent conversations from him, but Kite also had his other guests to take care of, so they couldn't talk forever. Quinton also remembered something his father told him before leaving. That it was Halloween and stuff happened on nights like this. He had first not believed his father's words, but then when these three new guests arrived. It made him frown. They were radiating with a weird energy and it didn't get better, when they introduced themselves. Everyone was sure they knew these three strangers. Quinton knew that was not the case. He had a hunch, they were not from this world, and that he and his siblings wasn't affected by the spell, these creatures had caused over everyone. He knew the crest protected them. However he didn't know what these creatures wanted here and what to do as of yet. He heard a coughing voice behind him and noticed Grace. She was looking behind her shoulder and quickly took a cup with punch.

"Who are they Chris?" She said and pretended to drink "Michael and Thomas noticed as well, but are acting like nothing is wrong for safety matter. Secondly that yellow idiot likes to flirt with every girl in here. He creeps me out!". Quinton sighed.

"I have my theories" He whispered "I think they might be creatures from another world. Most likely demons of some kind. It is said in the old times, that creatures like that, can visit our world on halloween eve". Grace frowned a little and looked quickly around. The yellow one named Mizar was flirting with some girls. The grey one Dumon was standing close to Kite and was right now talking to Yuma and some of his friends. Yuma thought apparently he was cool. The last one Vector was actually dancing with Zaira right now, which made both Quinton and Grace frown.

"So what to do Chris?" Grace asked "Everyone is under some sort of spell right?". Quinton nodded and looked around. They had to do something. There must be some trick to it. He began thinking. He was scraping pieces of his memory together. Everything he noticed happened some minutes ago and things he knew about, stuff like this. He was also looking around closely right now. Then an idea got formed.

"I have a theory. I think if we get Kite out of the spell, then they have no power in here" Quinton said slowly "Like a vampire I think they need to get some sort of invite to stay in here". Grace frowned a little.

"Okay so the plan?" She questioned. Quinton smiled a little.

"You and your brothers keeps the yellow and Grey one busy" He said "Then I will wake up Kite. I just hope the one who is dancing with Zaira, doesn't meddle. We just have to hurry. Whatever plan they have, we have to stop them before then".

"Wait, but that yellow idiot, is only caring about girls" Grace began, but saw her brother look at her. Grace sneered but nodded. She looked over at the yellow flirting idiot as she saw him as, and walked slowly over towards him. She was waving at her brothers as well, and when they arrived she slowly whispered "Plan D, in motion". Their eyes widened and they both a little while after nodded. Grace sighed inside. "Christ is so gonna get it for this!".

Zaira's p.o.v.

I was not sure what to do right now. I was actually wondering why I was dragged into this. Three guest, looking really weird and could apparently magic. If it was magic. I was not even sure, but whatever explanation could there be. I mean Shark would never let me dance with a weirdo, and Kite wouldn't let weirdos like them enter this party in the first place, if it wasn't the case. However here I was, dancing with one of these creatures. I sadly hadn't the time to refuge. I want to! Of course I want to and I was gonna tell, if it wasn't for the fact, that I needed to know what was going on here. Secondly I was a little occupied with where I was placing my feets. This was a really fast song, which was the only plus, and I was making sure not to trip. Like I ever would let this guy help me with anything. It was already terrible enough that I was dancing with him, and that my arm and hand was placed in his.

"Not bad" said this guy Vector and grinned "Not many girls can keep up with me, when I actually dance. Most of them either trip or steps on me. Maybe I can have yet another dance with you later wolfy". I snort coldly at him.

"Yeah dream on weirdo" I said "I dance one dance with you and that is that. My name is Zaira by the way. Not wolfy!". Vector actually grinned a little.

"Aw but Wolfy sound so much cuter" He complained but then sighed "But Zaira it is then. However I don't think your boyfriend care that I have another dance with you".

"Of course he cares, he is.." I began and stopped up with the conversation for a minute. Then sneered "Wait.. what did you do to him? What did you do to Shark?".

"Oh you noticed" Vector said and grinned "I was beginning to worry you didn't, but don't worry your boyfriend is safe. He is just under a simple sweet talk spell. He will do almost everything I tell him to do. At least until he doesn't think it benefits himself". He grinned again and I got goosebumps.

"What are you? And let Shark go! Let everyone go!" I yelled and tried getting out of his grip. It actually wasn't possible. Vector grinned evilly.

"Oh my dear little girl, you don't know what is going on now do you?" He said "You are in my grip now. A demon's grip. You can't leave! Not before the dance is finished". I was struggling a lot now. A demon! He is.. they are demons! Just great I am dancing with Demon! Vector grinned again.

"Let me go! What do you want?" I yelled.

"Oh Zaira you amuse me" He said "You honestly don't know what is going on? What I want is you! Or to be more specific, your beloved powers. We demons can come to your world only on halloween night, and we seek a living soul with a lot of powers. A soul like yours, which I will devour. Whatever of you is left, will turn into a creature like me. Although you do have to have a strong will and powers. Your powers were off the charge, so I think it is possible". I was just struggling even more.

"Go to hell!" I yelled "You will not.. eat me, your stupid demon creature. Someone will stop you. I just know!". Vector actually grinned a little.

"Oh like your little friends who is not under my friends Dumon's control eh" He said and pointed at Grace and her family "They have some skills, but they are to late. The enchantment on you is almost finished, and sure I will go to hell, but I will take you with me". As he said the last line, I felt so dizzy suddenly. Everything was turning around and my sight began being blurry. I could hear Vector laugh.

"Oh don't worry Zaira, after the ritual, you will properly thank me". Then I went unconscious.

Astral's p.o.v.

Astral was confused. So very confused. He had been floating around Yuma and his friends and was observing like always and sometimes talking to people who could see him. That was mostly Yuma and Tori. Shark and Zaira was busy being on a date, Rio was getting admired by a lot of boys and dancing with Quattro as well. Astral had actually been having a conversation with Yuma about Halloween, when these three creatures from another world had appeared and made everything weird. Yuma and his group was suddenly acting weird, like everyone else. Only a few was unaffected, like Zaira, his best friends. However she was suddenly dancing with that weird winged monster. Astral knew they were from another world. It was just something he could detect. Rio and almost every girl was around this yellow monster, and Kite and some of Yuma's group was around this grey polite one. Astral didn't know what to do. He was a ghost, so he kind of couldn't do much. He wanted to go over to Zaira and do something. She was the only one he could touch, but he was to far away. The key was around Yuma's neck after all.

"Yuma!" Astral tried "You need to go over to Zaira now. She not safe with this winged person near her". Yuma just snort and looked at Dumon with christmas light in his eyes. Astral tried again. Same resultat.

"Yuma, come on let's leave, aren't you hungry" Astral tried this time.

"I am actually" Yuma suddenly replied "But his costume is just so cool Astral, I..".

"Why thank you" said the grey monster Dumon "But yours are also cool little boy. Actually all of yours are special in their own way. You all did a great job". Astral noticed Yuma and the others eyes lit a little up. They were smiling happily as well.

"Ah you just saying that" Yuma said and hit Dumon on the shoulder.

"No, no, I mean it. You all did a awesome job" He said "Like mr. Vampire over there. He has made a awesome costume and holding this awesome party. However what about coming with me in a minute. To a scary place, where there is a lot of scary stuff and Cats. It could be a awesome end of halloween eve". Yuma and the group was thinking for a second. Astral was praying that they were not saying yes.

"Sure!" said Yuma then "I love scary places. Right Astral?".

"Uhu, a lot of cats" said Cathy and smiled happily. She also hugged Caswell. "We are going right Caswell". Caswell looked scared, but then he nodded.

"Yeah, well since you are going then I also are going" He told them. Astral looked in horror. It was like this creature was saying exactly the thing people would like to hear, and at the same time, make them believe and do stuff who benefits them.

"Hey what about us" said a voice suddenly and Astral noticed Trey and Quattro walking towards them. Quattro grinned a little.

"I like scary places. So where are we going?" He asked. Dumon eyed him a little.

"What are you two supposed to be?" Dumon asked "I only take special dress code with me to the scary place. You two are clearly not suited for that". Quattro sneered.

"What?! We are a scarecrow and a Mummy" He said angry "We can't get any scarier". Dumon just snort.

"Yeah that is so original" He said and shrugged "Try something different and we can talk about that". Astral noticed Quattro getting pretty angry.

"Original! Well a sorcerer or a fairy, aren't they original. I have seen them before" He yelled back and Astral noticed the angry faces from the others.

"Quattro stop it, he is using the others against you" He told them "He can manipulate with words and make the others believe them". Quattro sneered.

"I know that" He yelled and walked over there and grabbed Dumon "Listen dude. I am not sure what you want with our friends and what you are, but you are not gonna mess with our friends". Trey agreed. Dumon just snort a little.

"I am not sure what weird powers you two have, but you are not gonna change a thing" He said coldly and pushed Quattro away from him "These kids and I are gonna have a lot of fun, and you are not gonna stop us!".

"Yeah" yelled Yuma and the others, who was suddenly defending Dumon "Leave our new friend alone. We are gonna have a scary Halloween night".

"Yuma!" said Astral in a worried tone "He is messing with your head. We are your friends. Listen to us!". Yuma sadly didn't listen to him. Then suddenly Quattro smiled. He looked at Trey and grinned.

"Well you are about to leave anyway" He said and grinned. "My big brother got Kite free. Now you have to leave". Astral looked over at Kite who was looking groggy around. He looked like he was having a headache. Quinton was standing beside him.

"Wha.. what happened?" He questioned. Then suddenly Hart appeared beside Kite.

"Brother.. these weird creatures has ruined my, our party" Hart said and smiled "Make them leave big brother". Kite was staring at Dumon and he actually looked surprised. Then he sneered a little.

"Oh so you figured out to break my spell" He said and backed a little away "And you figured we had to listen to the host in this house. Clever! You pretended to be under my influence didn't you boy?". He looked at Hart, who was pointing his tongue at him. Astral sighed a little relived. Kite narrowed his eyes.

"Well then leave" He said "You are not welcome! If my brother says you are ruining the party, and take your brothers with you". Dumon sneered. Then he grinned a little.

"I am amazed that you figured all that out about us, but it is too late" He said in a cold voice "We already have some tributes, and I can use him here as well". He grabbed Hart and jumped backwards and the other two did that as well. Both having someone unconscious in their arms. Astral looked in horror.

"Zaira!" He yelled. Vector grinned his insane laughter.

"Grace!" said the arclights in a shocked tone. Mizar grinned as well.

"You send her over to distract me?" He questioned "Well then tell her, she shall never do that by dancing with a demon. Whatever power she has, will soon belong to us".

"Hart!" yelled Kite angry "Let my brother go!". Dumon shook his head, but then suddenly a ball hit him in the head and he surprisingly let go of Hart. Then some quickly flashing movement could be seen, and Hart got grabbed by someone. They all turned around and saw Haku standing some meters from the demons, and she was chanting. Seconds later Kaze was landing beside her with Hart in his arms.

"Oho a disguised miko and ninja" said Vector and laughed "Even that doesn't make any difference. These girls enchantment is much stronger, to be broken from a Miko right away. Let's get going you guys". The two demons nodded and followed Vector who jumped through the nearest window.

"Grace" yelled Quattro angry and was about to follow, when Kaze stopped him.

"Don't go!" He yelled "They are too strong right now". Quattro sneered.

"They got my sister.. let me go after them!" He yelled, but Kaze was holding him back. Astral looked so puzzled. What to do?

"You can't go after them" Haku told them "Even with the crest, they will surely have other ways to beat you. They are powerful indeed. Even I fell under the sweet spell for a couple of minute". Quattro sneered.

"But I can't let them get any of them. Who knows what they would do with them" He yelled. Trey nodded in agreement. However Quinton coughed.

"She is right" He said "They are surely strong. They took Zaira after all. We need to plan our new move. We are after all only a ninja, 3 people with the crest, a Miko, Astral and the Tenjo brothers". Quattro sneered.

"So what? We can take them!" He replied angry "They regret messing with my sister". Haku suddenly coughed a little and everyone looked at her.

"I suggest we wake up the others" She said "More people gets us a better fighting chance. Secondly we need to wake up Shark. He is important!". Quattro snort.

"Oh yeah what is so special about him?" Quattro said "He was so stupid to get under the spell like the rest of the people in here". Haku smiled a little.

"Because he loves Zaira" She said and grinned "The spell they are under can only break because of love. Grace, not sure, maybe some of your arclights go".

"Yeah, but what about the girls, while we wake people up" Trey questioned "My dear Zaira and sister, would properly get hurt by then". Haku shook her head.

"They need to prepare a ritual at midnight, where there is a visible moon" She said "There is 2 hours to midnight. We have time to figure out where they are and plan our counter move". Astral nodded in agreement.

"I wouldn't mind if you wake up Yuma as well. Our Zexal powers could come in handy here" He said and smiled. Just wait Zaira! We will come and save you!

Vector's p.o.v.

Vector was smirking, when he was running towards the city streets and towards the forest. He was having a great time. Even though they had to leave the party early, they did manage to capture two new souls. Through the centuries it had been getting easier and easier doing that. The tides of life changed. People believed less in mysterious creatures and demons, which made their job so much more easier. However he was a little surprised that there still existed Miko's, he had thought they didn't exist any longer. Or he had at least hoped that. He have had some showdowns with some doing the periods of time, but nothing deadly. Nothing like the fight their leader Don thousand had, which made him getting sealed away, by a Miko. However at least this miko looked inexperienced. He was sure they could win against her.

"Dumon how are you?" Vector asked. The gray demon snort.

"Beside that I got an enchanted fireball in my face" He said sarcastically "Then I am just fine. I didn't notice some of them wasn't under my spell". Mizar grinned.

"Yeah pitiful" He said "And you claim to be the most awesomest sweet talker of all of us. You didn't even notice that one of them is a miko". Dumon snort.

"Oh, you didn't notice her either" He said "Secondly if I hadn't told you that family had strange powers, then that girl in your arms wouldn't be there right now, now would she". Mizar sneered, but didn't reply him. Vector sighed.

"So there you are. You took some time didn't you" said a voice suddenly and two almost identically monsters appeared. A red one and a brown one. Vector snort. He knew who it was. Both demons and their comrades. The red one was Alito and the brown Girag. They quickly landed beside the others, and was carrying two males. Two teenagers. They both smelled drunk.

"Why is it always you two takes boys souls?" He questioned. Girag snort.

"Why are you always targeting girls?" He asked back "I take males because they have more power of course". Vector shrugged. He didn't believe that. Some people had more power than other and he didn't care what kind of sex it was. Although he did target more females than males.

"Oh Vector sir. You caught a strong one didn't you" Alito said "Was that the reason you wanted us to knock out the guards at the party? Are you sharing her?".

"Nope she is all mine" said Vector possessively "I caught her and therefore she is mine!". Girag snort a little cold.

"But you said you were gonna get us a feast" He said in a mocking tone.

"Oh talk to Dumon about that. He kind of blew it up" said Mizar "He had a herd of kids and then he didn't notice the host and well we had to run for it". Dumon sighed.

"Fine I blew it, are you two happy now. At least you didn't get hit by a fire ball and it still stings you know" He sneered "Stupid Miko!". Girag and Alito looked surprised.

"Miko? There is still Miko's in this world" Girag questioned "What actually happened?". Vector sighed.

"We can talk about this later. Alito did you find a place for us to eat at. To start the ritual so we can take their souls?" He asked. Alito saluted.

"Yes sir, Vector sir!" He said in a respected tone "A clearing is up ahead with big stones and stuff. Moonlight shining very brightly there". He pointed near the forest.

"Well then let's keep going" he said and the others nodded and followed him into the forest.

Shark's p.o.v.

Back at the party.

"Okay let's get this straight" began Shark and looked at his group of friends "Yuma, Rio as well as I and almost everyone at the party was under a spell". The others nodded. Shark sneered.

"And you tell me that it was demons who did it" He questioned. The others nodded again. Rio and the others who now was free from the spell looked in horror.

"Lastly you tell me that because of these three demons, my girlfriend Zaira was or did get kidnapped" Shark asked in an angry tone. The others nodded again. Shark sneered.

"Okay that does it. I am going to murder them!" yelled Shark and got up on his feets "I am going now!". However before he could go anywhere he was tackled down by both Yuma and Trey. Shark looked pissed at them.

"Hey get off me! I am going out to save my girlfriend and that is that" He yelled angry. Trey and Yuma shook their heads.

"I know how you feel, but if you go they would likely put another spell on you" Yuma said and sneered "And don't tell me that I don't care, Zaira is my sister, but we have to wait for orbital's report". Shark sneered and was struggling like hell.

"Let me go, I am not waiting for that oversized toaster own's report" He yelled "Now let me go!". He had just said that, when a beeping sound from Kite's watch could be heard.

"Reporting in Ma..ster Kite" Orbital said in the video phone "I have located the enemies. They are hiding in a forest clearing some miles away, and I think they haven't noticed me yet. Requesting that I can.. go in battle.. mode Master Kite!".

"You will do no such thing" Kite told the bot "Wait for us! I will arrive shortly". Shark could hear the bot mumble something and then the video phone was turned off. He smirked and kicked Yuma off him, then he got up.

"Now that we know where they are, I will not wait any minute" He told them "I don't care how many spells they are casting on me, I will in the end free my Zaira!".

"Hey don't steal all the thunder Reginald" could they hear a voice say and saw Quattro standing beside him smiling like hell "I have some business with them too. They kidnapped my sister and that is not without punishment!". Then he got pulled in by a hug by Yuma who was smiling like hell as well.

"I am not leaving all this to you two, Zaira is my sister, and I am not happy about them putting a spell on me as well" Yuma told them "And I think Trey thinks the same thing". Trey nodded. Quinton coughed a little.

"That is fine and all, but only special people can withstand the spells" He said "What do you think you all without crest can do?". Shark sneered angry. He didn't know and care about what he could do. He just knew he could free Zaira.

"Maybe I can help" said Haku suddenly "I can give you some of my powers to you. I wish I could come with you, but there is still a lot of kids who is under the spell, and I kind of feel responsible to take care of that". Kaze eyed her a little.

"And I will stay by her side then, Haku will need someone to protect her while chanting" Kaze told them. Quinton looked at them and nodded. He would stay behind as well. Someone with the crest had to be back here as well. In the end the team was Yuma, Kite, Shark, Quattro, Trey and Astral. The rest of them stayed behind. Haku placed a mark on their neck. It apparently should protect them against at least the sweet spell and some low spells. They all thanked her, but on the way out of the tower, Haku stopped Shark and whispered into his ear.

"Be careful, they know you are the only one who can break Zaira's spell, whatever that is. So they will be ready for you!" Shark's eyes narrowed, but he nodded. Then seconds later he left the tower as well. Zaira I am coming!

Zaira's p.o.v.

"Wakie, wakie Zaira!" said a voice and I felt a hand hit my cheek a little. I groaned a little and turned around on the other side. I really didn't want to wake up just now.

"Just 5 more minutes Yuma!" I said and tried to fall asleep once again. Then I heard this laughing voice and it gave me goosebumps.

"Oh how amusing Zaira, but I am not Yuma" the voice said "Now wake up!". I flew up, feeling all sweaty and I was gasping for air. Some violet eyes were looking at me.

"That was more like it Zaira" I could hear the voice say. I sneered.

"Vector!" I sneered "Where am I? What happened? Have you.. eaten me already?".

"Ehehe if I have done that, you wouldn't dare talk back to me now would yer, considered if there were something left of you that is" Vector said and grinned.

"Yep, I always wondered why you wakes your prays up, before you eat them" Mizar said "Like I would bother waking that arclight girl up. She clearly hates me!". I was smirking inside. Grace would properly hate him alright. Vector snort.

"I already told you, I love when they scream through the ritual and if they are sleeping, I wouldn't get the satisfaction from that now would I" He said and smirked at me. I was sneering like hell. Apparently I was sitting on some rock, but couldn't move or anything. I could talk thought. Grace was lying beside me, together with two weird boys I didn't know who was. Vector was sitting on the rock as well some meters beside me and grinning like hell. Mizar and the others were either sitting on the grass or leaning towards some trees. They were apparently more than three. It didn't make me feel more comfortable. A brown demon snort.

"Oh yeah like I believe that Vector" He said "You are just hoping she would turn into a demon like us. It is the same scenario as that girl from germany a couple of years ago. You liked her, since she was not afraid of you and had a lot of powers, but when you devoured her soul, her will was not strong enough and in the end you had to kill her". My eyes widened in horror. Vector was only grinning.

"Well what can I say, I like toying with my food" He said in a casual tone. Like he didn't care at all "If she turns into a demon, then we have another ally, and if not, well I got a satisfied meal out of it". I was getting a lot of goosebumps now. This was really creeping me out.

"We are about to have guests" said another voice suddenly and Dumon walked inside the clearing "It looks like the miko and these crest people broke my spell on some of the people, and is heading our way. I think they want the tributes back before midnight". Mizar, who had been sitting on a stone got up and smirked.

"Oh they really think they can make a difference" he said and grinned "But at least we are gonna some exercise, before dinner, right Girag". The brown one growled and was clenching his fists a little. Vector grinned evilly again. He grabbed my arm.

"Well if they want these tributes back, then they must be crazy" He said and smirked. "You can all do as you please. I will stay here and guard them though". The red one bowed quickly and grabbed the brown one Girag and disappeared. Dumon and Mizar soon after disappeared as well and I was alone with Vector.

"He he, this is gonna be fun to watch don't you think Zaira?" He asked me. "Do you think anyone would arrive in here?!". I just snort and didn't reply, but I had a hunch on who would come after me. I bit my lip. Shark please be careful!
