Bunny Bridge
Once upon a time, there was a young boy who lived in a village. He was pale, with limp black hair and bulging brown eyes. He always wore a bunny suit, and, being a rather peculiar boy, never spoke a word.
One day, on the boys fifth birthday, his mother was about to cut his birthday cake. Quick as lightning, the boy snatched up the knife and slit the beautiful woman's throat. Finding enjoyment in this, the little boy quickly killed the rest of his family the same way - A father, two older sisters, an older brother, and a baby girl.
Yet quick as the fun had started, it had ended when he was whisked away to the Asylum one town over. Being so young, they placed him in a cell with paper and colored pencils. But he began stabbing himself with the pencils, so those were quickly replaced with crayons. Everyday for a month, the handlers tried to remove the precious bunny suit the boy wore, but everyday for a month, he would scream, shout and beat his fists until they simply left him alone. And when he grew out of the bunny suit, he would attack anyone who came near him viciously, until he was given a new one.
This pattern continued for fifteen years, until one day, the boy had had enough. He was tired of his bleak walls, the men who brought his suit and food, and coloring with the same old colored pencils. He missed the feeling of a weapon in his hand, missed the thrill of murder.
So, one night, when the guard came in with his dinner, Bunny Boy stabbed the man in the heart with his fork, and slipped off into the night.
For days, weeks, months, Bunny Boy terrorized the village, creeping into houses and killing a single family every night, starting as midnight struck. The villagers lived in fear, for those who left were quickly hunted down. Only he was no longer known as Bunny Boy anymore - he was Bunny Man.
By October, Bunny Man, had killed off nearly the entire village. He was bored. So, he decided one night after killing a family of six, he would leave this village he had resided in for nearly sixteen years.
He would go home.
Laughing like a maniac, Bunny Man tore through the village, stabbing everyone in his path. He considered himself a performer, this was just the end of his first show.
Finally, he reached the bridge that led to his town. But he was finally beat. Dozens of men stood on the bridge, armed with pitchforks, knives, and torches.
The debated on how to kill him - finally deciding on hanging right over the bridge. And as the life slowly left Bunny Man's eyes, his malicious laugh cackled through the forest, sending shivers down everyone in the areas' spines - animals included. And to this day, that bridge is still known as Bunny Bridge.
Some say that Bunny Man still haunts the bridge he died on, causing cars to crash on the stormiest of nights. Others say he roams the Asylum, or the two villages, occasionally making a kill.
And still others say he is everywhere - possibly laughing over your shoulder as you read this. They say that every October, when the night is dark, you can find him watching you through your window with a smile on his face - red eyes, knife, bunny costume and all.
