Matthew and his family were at the house waiting for Hawkins to show up as they were trying to call Kelly but her phone was switched off as they were worried about her. One officer was looking through the security cameras as he was contact some officers until he noticed something on the camera as he was looking at it.

There was a police car entering the front yard as the car stopped in one place as the officer was waiting for someone to exit the car but nobody came out of the vehicle as he was confused. Aiden noticed the car in the camera as the officer spoke to him.

Officer: Stay in the house and lock the main door. I'll check out that car.

Aiden: I'll come with you.

Officer: It's okay. You all stay in the house. I'll be alright.

The officer began walking towards the main door and opened it as he left the house and Aiden closed the door and locked it. The officer noticed the police car as he was walking towards it as he said something.

Officer: Hey, Give me a status report.

No response was heard from the car as the officer was confused as he continued speaking.

Officer: Did you hear me? Where's Hawkins and Kelly?

Once again no response was heard as the officer walked towards the car and knocked on the door as he said something.

Officer: Robert! Kenny! Can any of you hear me?

No response was heard as the officer was annoyed and opened the door as his eyes were widen by the horror he saw.

One Officer's head was shaped as a lantern and the other officer was stabbed multiple times in the head with Sartain's knife pen.

The officer stepped back in fear as He was breathing heavily and was terrified from what he saw. He was scared and his heart was beating fast but he was unaware that someone was behind him.

Alex had the pitchfork in his hand as the officer heard something as he turned around and saw Crowe as he was shocked.

The officer pulled his gun out and tried to shoot Alex but Alex impaled the pitchfork on the officer's killing him instantly.

Anna and Naomi heard a sound coming from the front yard as Matthew also heard it as he looked through the window and he was shocked by who it was.

Alex was staring at Matthew as Barnes grabbed his shotgun and spoke to his family.

Matthew: Alex is here. All of you need to hide in the basement.

Aiden: Dad, I'm staying with you.

Matthew: No! You stay with your mom and wife.

Anna was gonna say something but Matthew stopped her as he pressed a button on the switch and a secret door beneath the floorboards was opened as Aiden, Anna and Naomi went down the basement as Matthew pressed the button and the door was closed.

Aiden was looking around in the basement as he saw guns on the walls along with propane tanks and more. Naomi noticed Aiden thinking about something as he looked at her and said something to her.

Aiden: I remember this room very well. Dad thought me about different guns and how they work. He also thought me how to defend myself.

Anna and Naomi looked at him as Aiden continued looking around in the room.

Meanwhile Matthew looked through the window and noticed Alex was gone as Barnes was at the main door as he was breathing heavily. Suddenly Barnes heard footsteps as he got his shotgun ready and was waiting for Crowe.

Suddenly Matthew heard silence outside as he can hear his heart beating fast as he looked through the glass in the main door as he didn't see anyone. He continued waiting as he was breathing heavily until....

Alex was bashing Matthew's head on the door as he grabbed him by the throat and began choking him as Matthew was in pain as he was trying to break free.

Anna along with Aiden and Naomi heard the sounds as they were calling out Matthew but no response was heard as they were worried about him.

Matthew was struggling to break free as he tried to aim the shotgun at Alex but Crowe grabbed the gun as he continued to choke Barnes.

Matthew was slowly losing consciousness as he was struggling to break free from Alex's grip but he was too strong until he had a plan.

Matthew saw Alex holding the shotgun until Barnes shot Crowe on his right hand causing him to lose two fingers as Alex grunted and let go of Barnes as Matthew was on the ground.

Aiden grabbed a shotgun as he was gonna press the button to open the door until he saw the door opening by itself as everyone moved back and was worried until they saw Matthew breathing heavily as he walked down the stairs and pressed the button closing the door behind him.

Matthew: I shot his hand but-

Aiden: Dad, Are you okay?

Matthew: I'm fine.

Naomi: Where's Alex?

Matthew was gonna say something until the family heard something coming from the main door. Alex managed to get the board off the main door as he opened it.

Anna: He's in the house.

They were worried and scared as they heard footsteps in the kitchen as Alex was in the kitchen looking for Matthew.

They heard Alex breathing through his mask as everyone was scared and worried as they continued looking. Aiden who was holding a shotgun saw a shadow as he shot it.

Silence was heard in the entire house as they were worried now until Matthew said something to them.

Matthew: All of you stay here. I'll look for Alex.

Anna: No Matthew! You can't-

Matthew: Anna, I'm sorry for everything i have done for all these years. I'm sorry that I pushed you and Aiden away. I don't want to lose you two, Your all that I have left.

Aiden: Dad-

Matthew: Aiden, I shouldn't have raised you like this-

Aiden: No Dad, You were protecting us. Don't blame yourself.

Naomi: We're all here for you.

Matthew: Then listen if I don't come back. All of you need to leave the house and take my car and drive away.

Anna: We are not leaving you here Matthew!

Aiden: Dad-

Matthew grabbed a rifle and pressed the button on the wall as the door was opened as Aiden wanted to come with his dad but Matthew told him to stay with Naomi and Anna and told him to protect them. Matthew said "I love you" to his family as he left the basement and closed the door as everyone was worried.

Meanwhile Kelly was running through the woods as she was trying to get to her grandfather's house as she saw the house up ahead as she continued running towards it.

Meanwhile Matthew was in the living room as the entire house was covered in darkness. Alex must have turned off the power to the house. Matthew turned on his flashlight as he continued looking around until he saw something.

There was a blood trail leading upstairs as Matthew continued walking up the stairs as he didn't trusted the silence at all.

He walked up the stairs as he opened one room and looked around as he didn't see anyone there as he immediately pressed a button and the door was closed by a shutter as Matthew continued looking for Crowe.

Matthew went inside another room and looked for Alex but he wasn't there as he pressed a button and the door was closed by a shutter as he continued looking around.

Matthew noticed the blood trail leading to another room in the house as he opened the door and saw a room filled with mannequins as he also noticed some of the mannequins had blood on it as Barnes had a feeling Alex was in this room.

Matthew noticed a blood stain in the closet as Matthew was breathing heavily and slowly walked towards it as his heart was beating fast and his blood was running cold.

Matthew opened the closet and there was nothing as he sighed to himself as he continued looking around in the room.

Matthew continued looking through the mannequins as he had his weapon ready until....

Alex grabbed the gun and threw it on the ground as he grabbed Matthew and looked at him. Barnes was angry and hit a headbutt on Crowe but he felt no pain as Crowe threw Barnes to the wall as Matt was in pain.

Matthew managed to get up as Crowe tried to attack him but Matthew kicked Alex in the gut as he looked at him. Matthew pulled out a combat knife and tried to attack Alex but he managed to dodge some of the attacks as he grabbed Matthew's arm.

Matthew was struggling to break free as Alex grabbed the knife and stabbed Matthew in the shoulder as he was in pain until Barnes began biting Alex's right hand causing him to let him go.

Crowe was angry as he grabbed Matthew and threw him off the window as Matthew was on the ground as Crowe looked at him.

Meanwhile Kelly made it to the house as she saw the main door opened as she ran inside the house and called out her family.

Kelly: Mom? Dad? Grandmother? Grandfather?

Alex heard Kelly's voice as he looked back at Matthew but noticed he was gone as Crowe tilted his head.

Aiden heard his daughter's voice as he immediately left the basement as Kelly noticed her father and spoke to him.

Kelly: Dad, Where's-

Aiden: Crowe's here.

Kelly was shocked as Aiden took her to the basement as Naomi immediately hugged Kelly and Anna was hugging her as Aiden closed the basement door.

Alex grabbed a firepoker and noticed the door in the floorboard as he began breaking the door down as everyone was scared.

Kelly was hugged her mother and grandmother as Aiden was pointing the shotgun at the door until Alex broke the door opened as Aiden didn't see Crowe as he was worried

Aiden: Dad! Dad, Where are you?!?

Silence was heard as Aiden along with Anna, Naomi and Kelly were scared as Barnes continued to call his father.

Aiden: Dad! I can't do it! I can't do it!

Silence was heard in the house as Kelly was in tears as Naomi and Anna were scared as Aiden was calling his father's name but no response was heard as he was scared.

Suddenly Alex was standing in front of them until he heard Aiden say something to him.

Aiden: Gotcha.

Alex walked back as Aiden shot Crowe in the chest as he was walking back until the shape heard someone behind him.

Matthew: Happy Halloween Alex.

Barnes slashed Alex's arm as Crowe hit Matthew with the fire poker as he was looking at him.

Crowe attacked Matthew with the fire poker until Barnes grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed Alex in the shoulder as he moved back until Matthew kicked causing Alex to fall down the basement.

Matthew: Come on let's go!

Aiden along with Kelly and Naomi left the basement as Anna was walking up the stairs until Alex got up as he looked at them.

Crowe grabbed Anna leg as she began kicking Crowe but he wasn't letting go as he was trying to drag her down.

Kelly noticed the bloody kitchen knife on the ground as she grabbed it and stabbed Alex's left hand causing him to let go of Anna.

Anna was out of the basement as Alex was walking up the stairs until Naomi kicked Crowe causing him to fall down as Alex was on the ground.

The family looked at each other until they saw Crowe getting up as he was walking towards the stairs.

Kelly: Oh god.

Aiden: Don't worry. That's not a room, It's a trap for him.

Alex was slowly walking up the stairs until Matthew activated the trap.

Matthew then ran and pressed a button as the family began smelling gas in the house as Barnes grabbed a flare and looked at Crowe.

Matthew: Goodbye Alex.

Crowe looked at him as Matthew threw the flare as there was a explosion in the room around Alex as the fire began to spread as Crowe was just staring at Matthew and his family.

Suddenly the fire around the house began spreading as Matthew along with Aiden, Anna, Kelly and Naomi all left the house as thet got inside the pickup truck as Aiden started the car and began driving away as they saw the house in flames.

Meanwhile Carrie was running through the woods looking for Alex until she noticed smoke in the distance as she began running towards it.

Suddenly she saw Matthew's house on fire as her eyes were widen as she called out Alex's name.

Carrie: Alex!

She ran inside the burning house to save him as she was in the living room as the fire continued to spread around the house.

Meanwhile Matthew and his family were in the truck as they were happy that the nightmare was over.
