Daisuke's Pov

I got back from looking for my brother and saw Rose was not at home. I saw a note from her saying she went to check out a lead. she gave us the lead. I went to where it was to find it freshly abandoned.  I'm too late but maybe they just escaped and they knew we were on to where they were hiding. I went back to see just snow. I hugged her close to me and she smelled of both my brother and crush. "where are the others"I asked she told us what had happened. I cursed "and I went to where she'd told us very specifically and it's been freshly abandoned," I said. she started to cry "it's all my fault if I hadn't run away I could have followed them and we could get them quicker" she cried. I hugged her "or you could have been recaptured and Roses sacrifice would be in vain," I told her. I ended up having to take her to her dad in the war room. he hugged his second daughter, even then it took her mom and siblings with an hour-long hug to calm her down. she told us boogie was drunk all the time and how a man in a mechanical wheelchair was telling him what to do. "dr Finkelstein" Sally breathed. Snow sniffed "I don't know mama but he took Nyx out every day for being bad, he protected me," she said. I smiled "you raised him right," Jack said to me. " I didn't sir actually I've been protecting him he must have assumed my role," I told them they nodded "we're doubling our efforts to find them both he will be honored for this" Jack said. I thanked him and we restarted the search.

Nyx's Pov

Rose has been protecting me, we are both getting closer and closer. I told her about my crush on Snow, she blushed at me and told me about her crush on my brother. we laughed at this information. she kept my hope up, by telling me that our family is searching for us. I believed her she's slowly becoming like my mom.

time skip three weeks later

Daisuki's Pov

I got a tip in the form of a note on our door. I gave everyone the heads up to watch my back as I went to get them. I found the two cuddling together passed out.  I grabbed Rose while Jack grabbed Nyx. we ran out before we could get out dad and Dr. Ficklestien cut us off with dad by his side. "Jack stay awhile, but do put down my toys," Dr. Ficklestien said. Jack punched Boogie and I kicked over Dr. Ficklestiens chair. we ran out while boogie was still trying to get his drunk ass up. we ran out, holding our family. it took us about half an hour before we got back. I set Rose down in her bed, she freaked out "no leave Nyx alone you old pervert" she said in her sleep.

Rose Pov

I opened my eyes to see my own room Nyx cuddled into my side. I hugged him close and cried into his hair "please say this isn't some cruel dream" I whispered.  then my Skully ran in, he gasped and ran back out. Then everyone ran in "your awake" Snow yelled hugging me. "ouch" I hissed while hugging back "please say this is not some cruel ass dream" I smirked. dad gave a humorless laugh "happy to report it's not" he smiled.
