My feet are rock I stand alone, guardian of a realm I have never seen.

I am a shining light, a beacon, a warning, traveller beware on the stormy sea, sail safely around my rocky feet.

No one hears my sad tale, I have feelings and just like you and can be lonely, now left alone with automation, my heart used to be home.

I was a nest for a small family, the sounds of babies crying, of children playing echoed up and down my spiral staircase.

Now I keep company with the sounds of nature and the odd gull.
