Some of Ramadan's earliest contemplations was based upon the fact that Insaan/human has been created flawed, yet beauty can be found in our flaws.

A man may not like many things about his wife, yet the one thing he may like is her worshipping Allah, if not anything else, and that will make her his most crowned possession, this is because her every act of obedience towards Allah will be a means of attaining Allah's pleasure so if he fears Allah, he will be pleased by what pleases Allah.

Similarly a wife may dislike many things about her husband, yet his devotion towards Allah and sincere worship can make him appear to be the most beautiful person in her sight, because she knows that his goal is Jannah and he wants nothing more than to reside with her therein.

As Allah states in the Quran, that a man may not like one quality about his wife, however there are many other good qualities in her which he may like.

The right spouse will be right in every way possible. Their flaws will be concealed by a layer of perfect imperfection, concealed because of the beauty that emanates from their character & devotion to Allah.

Keep praying for a spouse who is pious, one who will be a good parent to your children, and who will strive with you and attempt to lead you towards the gates of Paradise through such strife. That's what you need to pray for; at the end of the day that is all that counts. Someone who is willing to lead you towards Al Firdaus, or walk with you hand in hand towards it.
