Tears were continuously rolling down Saurav's cheeks remembering those bitter memories which he hid somewhere in his heart. Those beautiful days of his and his family's life turned out to be nightmares.

Flashback

After the divorce, Vibha and Shalini started a small business. Shalini broke all the relations with Sahaj. Aniruddh and Saurav understood whatever took place between their parents but Vidyut only understood his father wasn't a superhero but a villain of their lives. He is the reason for his broken family.

With great difficulties, they resumed their life but their heart wasn't at peace.

Sahaj got married to Sarika. He started his new life with all the happiness.

A few months passed away.

After a few months. It was evening time. Vidyut, Aniruddh, Saurav and Vibha were at home. Shalini was at her work.

Vidyut, Aniruddh, Saurav and Vibha were having evening snacks, boys sharing with their mother about their day. They were happy? No... A big fat no. Aniruddh can look over the pain that his mother's eyes held. She isn't a cheerful, happy soul like before but a Strong soul. Anyone can say she is suffering through emotional pain. Because of this, her health isn't good.

The doorbell rang.

Vidyut (cheerfully): Dadi aayi hai. (Grandma has come)

Saurav (nodded): Main khol aaya door. (I will open the door)

Vibha nodded. Saurav went to open the door. He found Sahaj.

Saurav (mumble): Aap? (You?)

Sahaj (cupping Saurav's face): Kaisa hai mera beta? (How are you, my son?)

Saurav (removing his hands, taking a step back): Aap yaha kyun aaye ho? (Why you are here?)

Sahaj (angrily): Aese baat karte hai apne baap se? (Is this a way to talk with your dad?)

Sahaj held his arm and dragged him inside.

Sahaj (shouting): Ye sab sikha rahi ho tum mere beto ko? Aese baap se baat ki jati hai?

(Sahaj: This is what you are teaching my son? Is this a way to talk with the father?)

Listening to his voice, Vibha trembled. Before she could reply.

Sahaj (drags Aniruddh towards his side): Main apne beto ko tum jaisi aurat ke sath nahi chor sakta.

(Sahaj (drags Aniruddh towards his side): I am taking my kids with me. I can't leave them with a women like you)

Vibha got scared. Vidyut who was on her lap, hid his face in her chest. Vibha wrapped her arms around him.

Aniruddh (angrily): Aap mummy ko blame nahi karo. Aapki galati hai. (Don't blame mom. This is your fault)

Sahaj slapped him hard on his face.

Sahaj (gritting his teeth): Tameez, Izaat dono hi cheeze teri maa tujhe nahi sikha payi par baap ke khilaf kaan jarur bade hai.

(Sahaj (gritting his teeth): Manner, Etiquette she couldn't teach you. But she successfully filled your brain against your father)

Aniruddh's cheek burned because of pain and turned red. Saurav got scared. Vidyut started sobbing but silently. Vibha stood numb from her brain and her body.

Sahaj (dragging Saurav and Aniruddh): Chalo mere sath. Is aurat ke sath nahi rehna tum logo ko. (Let's go with me. I can't leave you with this lady)

(A/N: Prologue scene of Vidyut. Where his mother was standing, holding him right, close to herself. His father dragging his brothers with himself)

Saurav ran towards Vibha after biting Sahaj's hand. He held Vibha's Kurta. She came back to her senses.

Sahaj came towards Saurav. He held his hand. Vibha pushed him hard. He fell to the ground leaving Aniruddh's hand.

Vibha (angrily): Bache mere hai. Mere sath rahege. (Kids are mine. They will stay with me)

He angrily stood up and held Vibha's jaw. The boys were shocked and scared.

Sahaj (shout): Bache mere hai. Tumne inko sirf apni womb di hai. Vo mera khoon hai.

(Sahaj (shout): They are my kids. You only gave womb. They have my blood).

Vibha (jerked his hand): Bilkul bhi nahi... (No... This isn't happening)

She slapped him hard.

Vibha: Mere bete par hath uthane is haq kisne diya aapko? (How dare you to touch my kids?)

Sahaj held her hair.

Sahaj: Bache mere sath rahege. Pyaar se leke jaa raha tha par nahi. Ab bhugto.

(Sahaj: Kids will stay with me. Calmly, I was taking them but no. Now bear it)

He was about to hit her but Shalini came. She saw Sahaj, pulling Vibha's hair and boys hiding behind Vibha. Her anger boiled.

Shalini (pushing Sahaj away): Teri himat kaise hui yaha aane ki? (How dare you come here?)

Sahaj (angrily): Aap meri maa ho. (You are my mother)

Shalini (spatting in anger): Teri maa mar gayi. Tut gaye tere sare rishte hum logo se. Ab kyun aaya hai yaha par?

(Shalini (spat in anger): Your mother died. All relations broke with her. Now, why you are here?)

Sahaj: Main apne bacho ko lene aaya hoon. (I am here to take my kids with me)

Shalini: Bache tere nahi hai. Jaa apni us biwi ko hi bol tujhe bache de. Yaha se nikal jaa.

(Shalini: Kids don't belong to you. Go and ask your wife to give you a child. Just leave from here)

Sahaj: Bacho ko to main leke hi jauga. (I will take the kids with me)

Shalini: Bacho ko hath laga kar dikha. Tere hath hi kat dugi. (Dare to touch my kids. I will break your hands)

Sahaj: Aese manoge nahi aap. Theek hai main court tak jauga. Custody to leke hi manuga bacho ki. Is aurat ke sath mere bache bilkul nahi choruga.

(Sahaj: You won't agree with me like this. Fine! I will forward the custody case in court. Kids will stay with me, not with this lady)

Shalini: Teri biwi hai na. Jaa usko bol de bache. Agar tujhe Vibha nahi pasand to uske bacho par kyun nazar hai. Jaa yaha se.

(Shalini: You have your wife. Go and ask her for the child. If you don't like Vibha. You don't have any right to her kids. Leave now)

Sahaj (shout in anger): Sarika is not able to conceive.

This was it. Shalini held his collar and threw him out of her house.

Shalini: Court jaa ya kahin bhi jaa bache tere pass nahi aayege.

(Shalini: Go to court or wherever you want to go. Kids won't stay with you)

She shut the door and went inside. She was Vibha sitting on the floor and crying. The boys were crying as well hugging their mother.

Shalini (caressing Vibha's head): Maaf kar dena mujhe. Main sahi sanskaar nahi de saki.

(Shalini (caressing Vibha's head): Please forgive me. I could not raise him well)

Vibha (sobbing): Maa mere bache... (Mom, my kids)

She trailed off...

Shalini: Bacho par uska saya bhi nahi padega ye mera vada hai tujhse. Tu bilkul tension na le.

(Shalini: His shadow will not fall on the children, this is my promise to you. Don't worry)

Vibha nodded.

Shalini: Rona band karo. Chalo khana khao. Ani tera test tha na kaisa gaya?

(Shalini: Stop crying. Come and have your meal. Ani how was your test?)

Though it was difficult for them somehow the day ended. Next morning. When they woke up. They found Vibha dead. In the middle of the night, she went through Cardiac Arrest and died.

Everything was so difficult for Shalini. Especially, when her son forwarded the custody case in court. Shalini was determined not to let the boys go with him. She was determined to complete the promise she made to Vibha. She proved in court how a bad husband, son, father and most importantly person Sahaj is. She got custody of Vidyut, Saurav and Aniruddh. She solely raised them.

Flashback ended...

These bitter memories of their lives were buried inside their hearts. Ruhi's entry made them go through this lane of memories.

Saurav stood there only, looking at the moon and stars.

With Aniruddh.

He was lying on the bed, looking at nothing in particular. Khushi and Harsha were beside him.

Harsha (holding his hand): Ani?

Aniruddh: Hmm?

Harsha: You okay?

Aniruddh: Pata hai Harsha vo din bahut takleef hui thi jis waqt us aadmi ne mere par hath uthaya tha. Vo ladki kahin bhi responsible nahi hai in sab me par main ye kaise bhul jau his second wife conceive nahi kar paa rahi thi to vo humari maa ki life leke chala gaya. Kaise bhul jau main ye sab. Haa us bachi ko rote dekh mujhe chota Vidu yaad aa raha hai par Harsha mujhe meri maa ki maut bhi yaad aa rahi hai.

(Aniruddh: You know Harsha, those days were so difficult, the moment that man raised his hand on me. I know that girl is not responsible anywhere in this but how can I forget, that his second wife was not able to conceive that's why traumatized my mom and she died. How can I forget these? I do remember Younger Vidu, looking at that girl's condition but I can't forget my mom's death.)

He broke down. Harsha rubbed his arm and was trying to calm him.

Aniruddh: Vidyut nahi bol raha kuch bhi. Vo tab bacha tha. Usne sare dard dekhe jarur par samajha nahi. Bade hone par usne dard sune, feel kiye but usne vo dard me jiya nahi. Main nahi bol raha Vidyut affect nahi hua hai kya but Harsha vo chota tha to us moment par us dard me nahi jiya hai. Usko 100% sab yaad bhi nahi hoga. Saurav and mere aankho ke samne jo moments baar baar play ho rahe hai. Dadi bhi hurt hai I know. Vo aaj nahi utni hurt jitni us moment par thi. She only knows how she fought against her blood. How she protected us and raised us.

(Aniruddh: Vidyut didn't say anything because he was a small child. He saw everything and felt it too but not it was actually. He heard everything afterwards and understood too but couldn't feel the way we did. He doesn't live in that moment.  About Grandma, she is also hurt. That moment she was broken deeply. Maybe today she isn't that much hurt but she is. She only knows how she went through that phase. How she fought with her blood. How she protected and raised us)

He sobbed. She let him cry and pour out his pain.

Aniruddh: Nahi rahe sakti vo idhar Harsha. Bilkul nahi. (She can't live here Harsha. She can't)
