Vidyut came back to his senses as Mihika came there with her bag.

Mihika: Vidyut vo kuch nahi kha rahi hai. Please take care of her.

(Mihika: Vidyut, she isn't eating anything. Please take care of her.)

Vidyut nodded. Mihika made Ruhi stand and explained to her that she was going with Vidyut.

Vidyut held Ruhi's hand and walked out of the office with her. He made her sit in the car in the back seat. He sat in the driver's seat and drove off the car. The whole drive was silent. Ruhi was too scared to speak anything with Vidyut. Vidyut had no idea what to say or talk about. He was too disturbed to talk.

As they reached. Vidyut came out of the car. He took Ruhi too. They walked in silently.

As they walked in. They found everyone on the dining table. Only Shalini was aware of Ruhi, no one else.

Aniruddh (looking at the Ruhi): Vid ye bachi kaun hai?

(Aniruddh (looking at the Ruhi): Vid, who is she?)

Listening to Aniruddh's words. Everyone's attention turned towards the door.

Saurav: Vidyut kya hua? Tu theek nahi lag raha hai. Sab theek hai?

(Saurav: Vidyut what happened? You seem dull. Is everything alright?)

Shalini looked at his face. She knew the reason. She knew he was in pain. She looked at Ruhi. That little girl too seems lost.

Vidyut looked down, not knowing how to explain his brothers. Aniruddh, Harsha and Saurav were worried.

Shalini (sighed): Aao baitho beta. Hum sab tumhara hi wait kar rahe the. Aa jaa bache.

(Shalini (sighed): Come sit child. We were waiting for you only. Come, baby)

She said the last line to Ruhi.

Aniruddh: Dadi aap janti hai ye kaun hai?

(Aniruddh: Grandma, do you know about her?)

Shalini (nodded): Khana kha kar baat kare? Sab ko bukh lagi hogi. Vidyut isse mujhe de beta.

(Shalini (nodded): Have a meal first then we can talk? Everyone must be hungry. Vidyut, give her to me)

Vidyut nodded and he made Ruhi sit beside Shalini.

Vidyut: Mujhe bukh nahi hai. Aap log kha lo. Main aaya fresh ho kar.

(Vidyut: I am not hungry. You have your meal. I will get fresh till then)

Aniruddh and Saurav looked at each other.

Saurav: Aese kaise bukh nahi hai? Chal baith idhar.

(Saurav: How come you are not hungry? Come and sit here.)

Vidyut: Bhai please-

Harsha (cuts him): Kya hua hai bache? Idhar aa mere pass baith.

(Harsha (cuts him): What happened, baby? Come here and sit with me)

She said the last line in an ordering tone. Aniruddh, Saurav and Harsha sensed he was going through something. Vidyut obeyed Harsha's words and sat beside her.

Harsha: Kya hua? Tu ro raha tha?

(Harsha: What happened? You were crying?)

She asked looking at his face. Vidyut shook his head. He couldn't control it anymore and hugged Harsha. He started sobbing. Taking his pain out.

Looking at him. Aniruddh and Saurav panicked. Harsha's muscles stiffened. She caresses his hair. Shalini sighed sadly. Ruhi was looking at them.

Harsha: Bol Vidyut kya hua? Tu friends ke sath Cafe gaya tha na? Kisi ne kuch bola? Ye bachi kaun hai?

(Harsha: What happened Vidyut? You went to the cafe to spend time with your friends. Did someone say something? Who is this kid?)

Vidyut sobbed. Harsha broke the hug and cupped his face. She wiped his tears.

Harsha: Bol na kya hua?

(Harsha: Tell me what happened?)

Saurav (rubbing his back): Bata bache kya baat hai?

(Saurav (rubbing his back): Say it baby, what's the matter?)

Vidyut (sobbing): Sarika Rajput... She died...

He mumble. Listening to his words, Aniruddh and Saurav's eyes were wide open in shock.

Aniruddh (pointing at Ruhi): Ye... Ye unki beti hai?

(Aniruddh (pointing at Ruhi): She is her daughter?)

Vidyut nodded. Aniruddh and Saurav sat there in shock. Harsha looked at Ruhi, she was feeling sorry for her.

Saurav: Tujhe ye sab kaise pata chala?

(Saurav: How you get to know about all this?)

Vidyut looked at Saurav. He then looked at Shalini. She nodded in no.

Saurav: Bol Vid... (Say it)

Shalini: Ye sab choro. Dekho dono bacho ki halat. Aniruddh, Saurav, Vidyut samajh sakti hoon kaisa mehsoos kar rahe hoge tum log is waqt par bacho is me is bachi ki kya galati? Kaise hum isko is bari duniya me akele chor de?

(Shalini: Leave all this. See the condition of these two. Aniruddh, Saurav, Vidyut, I can understand what you are going through but what's her fault? How can leave her alone?)

Aniruddh (with hurtful eyes): Dadi ye akeli aesi bachi to nahi hai jisne apne maa-baap kho diye. Jaise baki bache rehte hai orphanage me. Ye bhi rahe legi.

(Aniruddh (with hurtful eyes): Grandma, she isn't the only child who has lost her parents. Like other kids, she too will live in the orphanage)

Shalini (angrily): Itna pathar dil kaise ho gaya mera beta? Main manti hoon tu logo ke emotions ki itni value nahi karta hai par iska matlab aese to nahi hai ke tu itna pathar dil bane.

(Shalini (angrily): How can you be stone-hearted? I agree you don't value someone's feelings but this?)

Saurav: Dadi par humare sath kyun? Uske apne relatives bhi to hoge. Bol dete hai jisko chaye rakh lega vo.

(Saurav: Grandma why with us? She has her maternal relatives too. We can ask them. Whoever will want will take her with them)

Shalini: Vo koi khilaona hai kya? Ek bache ko pasand nahi aayi to dusre ko de dege? Aur uske baap ke galatiyo ki saza isko kyun bacho?

(Shalini: But she isn't a toy. If one kid isn't enjoying. You can pass it on to someone else. Why you are punishing her for her father's faults?)

Vidyut again hugged Harsha. He was not crying anymore but a flashback of his mother crying was hitting in his mind. Harsha was caressing his hair and silently looking at Shalini, Aniruddh and Saurav. She knew neither Aniruddh and Saurav nor Shalini was wrong but situations are. She looked at Ruhi who was crying silently. Harsha shook her head looking at Ruhi. Ruhi wiped her tears but again fresh tears rolled down her cheeks.

Aniruddh: Dadi iski maa ke vajah se humara pura khush parivar tut gaya. Iske maa ke vajah se meri maa ko heart attack aaya.

(Aniruddh: Grandma, because of her mother. We lost our happy family and our mother went through cardiac arrest)

Shalini: Galat Ani... Iske baap ke vajah se. Uske baap ki niyat kharab thi. Uski maa bekasur hai aesa nahi hai par vo us aadmi jitni gunegar nahi hai. Iske maa-baap ki galati thi jo bhi thi. Iski bachi ki nahi hai.

(Shalini: Wrong Ani... Because of her father. Her father faulted his character. I am not saying her mother was innocent. But whatever it was. She is an innocent kid.)

Saurav: Vo jo bhi dadi. Ye yaha nahi rahegi. Dekh rahe ho Vidyut ki halat. Isko dekhege to hume dukh hi hoga. Har waqt vo dhokha hi yaad aayega. Vo baar baar humari chot ko hath lagate rahegi. Hume dard dete rahegi.

(Saurav: Whatever it is grandma. She isn't going to live here. You can see Vidyut's condition. She will hurt us, coming in front of us)

Shalini: Chot ko hath lagana. Saurav bache kya pata uske hath me davai ho. Jo teri chot ko lagne par kuch pal dard degi par baad me raahat milegi. Aur haa dikhi mujhe Vidyut ki halat. Samajh sakti hoon tum log kaise mehsoos kar rahe rahoge. Beta maine tum me se kisi par bhi iski zimedari nahi daalugi. Usko main sambhalugi. Main bada karugi.

(Shalini: Maybe she will cure your wounds. I can see how hurt Vidyut is.  I can understand what you are going through. I am not asking you to take her responsibility. I will take care of her, I will grow her up.)

Aniruddh: Dadi aap kyun apne sar musibat lena chahte ho. Kyun le rahe ho iski zimedari. Aapki umar ab aaram karne ki hai. Aap-

(Aniruddh: Grandma, why do you want to take someone's problem on your head? You should take rest at this age-)

Shalini (cuts him): Ani bolne se pehle ek baar such to kya bol raha hai? Mana main apne bete ko sahi seekh dene me koi galati ki hogi par maine tum logo ko pyar, sneh, sanskaar sab dil se diya hai. Main meri parvarish dusri baar aese fail hote nahi dekh sakugi. Nahi leni zimedari mat le, nahi rakhna ghar me mat rakh par is bachi ne tera kya bigada hai jo tu usko musibat bol raha hai? Vo to teri zindagi me abhi aayi.

(Shalini (cuts him): Ani at least think once before speaking. I agree maybe I couldn't raise my son with the correct values but I raised you three with all love, values, and respect. I won't be able to bear my upbringing failing the two times. She just came into your life. You are calling her problem)

At last, she broke down. She was hurt not because of them fighting with her but because of Aniruddh's word Musibat.

Looking at her crying, Saurav and Aniruddh went towards her. Saurav sat on the other side of her and hugged her.

Aniruddh: Dadi mujhe aapko hurt nahi karna tha. I am sorry dadi.

(Aniruddhv I am sorry Grandma. I didn't want to hurt you. I am sorry)

He apologizes. Saurav was consoling her. Both of them were out of words to even say anything. They don't want to hurt Shalini. She always stood with them. She disowned her son when she got to know he was cheating on Vibha. She fought with him when he was trying to take Aniruddh and Saurav with him. She was beside Vibha always. After her death, She solely raised Vidyut, Saurav and Aniruddh. She did everything for them. She always used to blame herself for her son's deeds.

As Shalini was crying, Aniruddh and Saurav came towards her. Ruhi stiffened. She was scared of the new atmosphere and the new people around her. Already she couldn't digest the fact that her mother was no more. This little girl was going through so much.
