~Jan 4
Miryanna sat back down, puzzled as to why Karayan didn't seem to recognize her. Probably because he was still weak ad feverish, she told herself.
"Iphnis, do you know much about medicine?" She asked suddenly.
Iphnis started from where he'd been dozing in his chair, "No, not really," He replied, tired sounding.
Miryanna nodded, "You've lived seventy years and learned nothing of medicine or healing in that time?" She asked, a little skeptical.
Iphnis gave a tired half smile, "I'm a smith, not a doctor. My skills are not above yours."
"But surely Gnomes have other techniques that could help?"
Iphnis shook his head, "Not all gnomish medicine would work on humans. It might prove to be damaging even."
whatever that makes sense
"Oh," Miryanna replied.
Neither of them spoke for a few more minutes. Miryanna opened her mouth to ask another question, but saw that Iphnis had fallen asleep where he sat.
Miryanna's mouth snapped shut and she berated herself silently for not letting him to take a rest. He obviously needed it. Miryanna would save her question for later. Her gaze drifted over to Karayan again. He was lying still, but his face was troubled.
Just then, a knock came at the door. Iphnis roused at the sound, and glanced over at Miryanna, who got up to answer it. It was Andarin.
