'Everyone is Dead...'

That repeated in my head as i walk aimlessly on the streets of New York. The once beautiful city which resembles American Strength was now Burning, the Fleet managed to evacuate most of the civilians to a secret Bunker located at Greenland but...We knew it was our last battle. Bodies of National Guard, Marines, Soldiers, Civilians, and Police lay on the ground. They hit us hard...

I had tears flowing down my cheek as it soaked up my Balaclava. My whole platoon...was gone...Francis and Arthur were still alive and were hiding at the sewers...but everyone is dead...Sarge...The Lieutenant, Javier, Kelly, Omar...Everyone...Everyone i trained with...Is dead.

The last thing i heard from Francis and Arthur about something of seeing a man in a suit as they all started to scream and everything went quiet...My best bet was...they're gone too...

I fell to my knees dropping my M16A4 On the ground, my BDU's are dirty, blood was across it, it was tattered and ripped...I looked like a mess.

I placed both of my hands on my face as i cry on them. I started to sob loudly...My Birth Parents died...now my adopted one...

I snapped as i remove my hands from my face and standing up, not bothering to pick up my Rifle.

A male voice says behind me as i quickly turn around, expecting an Combine Soldier having a weapon pointed at me...But i see a Man, with pale skin, odd eyes, wearing a blue suit, and holding a suitcase as he adjust his tie.

I start to back up in fear, was this an hallucination? An Combine trick? But before i could figure anything out, buildings started to disappear, the bodies vanished, the destroyed Civilian and Military Vehicles seemingly float, Items like M16's, Pistol's, Radio's, and anything from the dead float as well. Everything was now a black void as the vehicles and items float around me as my eyes widen in shock...Am i dead?

"Mr. Bishop, it appears your are a perfect candidate. Now, i will see you, when we meet, again."

He finishes with a chuckle. Everything turned completely dark, i couldn't moved, talk, pray...But i Remember...

"GET THOSE CIVILIANS TO THE OSPREY!"

It kept replaying in my head...the defense of New York...It just kept replaying in my head...Minutes turn to hours...Hours to days...days to weeks...weeks to months...months to years...My best friend who motivated me when we were in a bad situation was gone...The very first person i loved who wasn't my family...Corporal Katherine Harrison...She was dead...And i got Corporal Diego Omar killed...Everyone is dead...

It kept replaying on my head as i stare at the black void, i still couldn't moved but i didn't die from hunger, didn't aged, didn't moved, didn't talk...But i did change...And i wanted to die...

As i finish replaying the memory again on my head, i wanted to cry but i couldn't...its been years but i couldn't moved...Couldn't Show any emotion...

"Couldn't talk-..."

I finally felt my eyes widen in the very first time as i spoke those words...it was like the chains that was holding me broke...I raised my hand as it moved...

"Bishop?"

I turned around to see Arthur as i gasped in disbelief...

"Didn't i say don't call me Bishop, Arthur?"

I asked him as we hugged each other (bro hug).

"Where the hell are we James?"

Arthur asks be but before i could say anything, more people started to appear out of nowhere,

A man in a Russian accent says while wearing Russian Army gear asks in shocked...He came to me and Arthur confused looking around

"Where the fuck am i?"

A man in an American accent says while wearing HECU Gear, the tag Shephard can be seen on the side of his helmet, he mimicked the Russian's actions and approached us while repeating the question.

"What the..."

A woman wearing a tight black jumpsuit mutters, as the CIA Black Ops approached the new group of people.

"Arthur? James?"

Me and James turned to see Francis. He had an confused expression as all of us had.

"Francis!"

We both say as we rushed to him to see if he was alright. He was fine as we both sighed in relief.

As i looked around the black void, i see that there were twenty people (not including the Shephard, the Black Ops Assassin, and the Russian), They were all either military, police, Or Black Mesa.

"Welcome back."

We quickly all turned around to see the Man in blue suit once again, he had a smirk on his face as he adjust his tie.

"Go back to where you belong and forget about, all this. Until, We meet, again."
