Chapter 1
"Andrea," he said with his gruff voice.
"Don't go." Tears rolled down his cheeks to his short stubble beard. His brown eyes glued on mine.
He took my hand and pulled me towards him. He hugged me tight resting his head on my shoulders. But it didn't make me uncomfortable, it calmed the beast inside me. I felt like I belong there. I felt his heart beats on my hand. Like a racing horse. His bare chest warm against my skin, rising and lowering aganist mine.
"Don't go."
"I don't know," I said pulling away from him. But I knew that we were not supposed to part ways again. I love him, I don't know if he does. All I want to know is if he feels the same or not, wheather he loves me or not. But no matter how hard I try, I just can't pull myself to ask him.
"I know, I can see it in your eyes. You belong with me. I love you."
Chills rolled down my spine. I love you. The words echoed on my mind. I love you. I was unable to resist him anymore. I was repeating the same words a thousand times in my mind until my lips yearned to meet his. His hopeful teary eyes made my heart beat faster, an urge to wipe the tears off his eyes. Instead, I catch him by his cloak, pulled him towards me and we kissed, kissed like there was no tomorrow. The lights slowly faded highlighting us while he placed his hands on my waist and held me closer.
"Cut," Joanne Wills said. I smiled showing my overrated dimples.
She ran towards me and appreciated my acting skills. Her eyes shined through her spectacles. This was the last shot of my new movie Repels, so that means it was a pack up. The crew applauded and started talking with the other crew members. There was a smile in everyone's face, three months of hard work and cooperation came to an end. It didn't matter if I'm the main character because me alone couldn't have made it here. Every little thing matters, like the smile on these faces.
I turned around and saw Austin, who gave me a death stare. He had brown eyes, brown hair, perfect jawline and was taller than me, but it didn't matter to me anyway. I knew he was going to make a scene about God knew what. Let me tell you, this guy can ruin a moment perfectly. I always tried to avoid him because he was too negative for me, but now here I was, right in front of him.
"You don't stand a chance in front of me, you understand Ann?" Austin Barlow huffed, the man I just did a romantic scene with. Life is really different outside, the villain might be a hero in real life and a hero will be a villain, like Austin here.
He was a mean, self-obsessed, obnoxious soul. He always found ways to get on my nerves. The fight between us was not a private issue, it was a public event now since he tripped me on the red carpet last year and the pictures of us fighting and cursing each other was all over the internet, thanks to the paparazzi, never failed to capture a single moment. My publicist had worked her butt off to get over that bad reputation, but Austin didn't seem to care about his reputation at all.
"No I don't and yes she does." A not-as-strong-as-Austin's sound came from behind. A smile spread on my face. The overreated dimples appeared again.
I never had to look for who it was, I sensed the vexation through Austin's eyes. It was my soulmate, my man, the better half of Anastasia Reyes. As for me, a girl who owned the world, at least that was what Vogue said, he was my champ and I was his princess.
He placed his hands on my waist. The long fingers traced my skin. I felt warmth in my cheeks, okay okay! I was blushing. I knew his soul, I knew the fragrance of the perfume that followed, I knew the person that came along, our hearts were connected, more strongly than I could explain. It was him, my man, Dexter Estrada.
"For the record, she has won Oscar four times, she is the third most popular person on the earth and what have you got mister?" Dex asked. I felt proud, even more proud knowing that he was proud of me.
I knew Austin was gonna break. He can't stand Dex. The hate between them dates back to childhood. Basically, we all hate him.
"And don't you dare take that tone with my girlfriend, savvy? Now get your ass moving."
"It's okay Dex."
Austin seemed pissed off. He clenched his fist and walked away. He settled at the bar to the left side of huge-fake-stairs. He smashed his fist on the bar counter making everybody stare at him with twitched eyebrows.
Dex turned to me and held me in his arms, a place I felt immensely secure. I threw my hands around him and pulled him close. I felt his biceps on my arms, strong. He kissed me in my forehead and then on my lips, his lips were soft and sweet. He stroked through my brown curls.
"Nobody's gonna insult my baby when I'm here," he mumbled to my ears.
"Love you Dex."
"I love you too, Ann."
We kissed.
"Are we reshooting the scene or what?" Joanne said.
We both smiled moving apart.
"Go get a room people!" she said rolling her eyes. She was single and hated public display of affection.
"So...What's our plan for tonight?" I asked.
"Since you've got two days before the next filming starts-" He teasingly smiled and took two tickets from his pockets and flashed it in the air.
"Don't tell me!!"
I jumped and grabbed the tickets from him. "We are going to freaking Berade?!"
"Yes. I, Dexter Estrada, Prince of Berade, is taking my princess Lady Anastasia Reyes for an adventure."
"You're the best," I said pinching his cheeks. I've been telling him for a long time to take me there and now it was happening and I can't keep calm.
I snuggled between his arms. We chuckled and messed around.
"You guys not done yet?"
"Ah. Lovebirds." She flashed her hands in the air.
She's a funny person and an amazing friend of mine. She looked nerdy in her spectacles.

"Ma'am your meeting with Nathan Carter is scheduled for 5 in the evening today," Harmony, my agent said. She was holding some files and kept on adjusting her goggles which were square and black.
"Nope, I'm out for two days with Dexter. Cancel all appointments and sneak those in for the weekends," I said without tearing my eyes off from the computer screen.
"You want me to order your lunch?" she asked.
"I'll skip that. Got to send some emails."
"Thanks, Harmony but I'll be her agent for two days," Dex said massaging my shoulders.
"Tell mom I'll skype her, okay?"
"Sure, ma'am."
"Enjoy your trip." She left the files at the table, adjusted her goggles again.
"Thanks, Harmony," Dex said. She left closing the door without making any sound.
I turned around and Dexter was in a towel showing his perfectly build abs.
"whoa hottie, give me a mome-"
He bent down and kissed me.
"Never get tired of this. Can't wait to show you my place," he said.
"Now if you'll excuse me. My boyfriend Mr. Prince is taking me to his kingdom tonight."
I poke him in his nose.
"Oww." He moaned and rubbed his nose which was almost red now.
"Oops. I've to get ready."
"Your boyfriend seems pretty romantic, is he?" he smirked and placed his hands on the table.
"Yeah, he is." I winked and blow a kiss at him.
