Half Fang:

CHAPTER 1-THE BITE        

December:

Miss loyd, Miss loyd!

"Huh"? Whats going on?

"You seem to find my lessons boring, Ellie"?

"N-no, Mrs Chapman, i was just..."

"No excuses, latley you seem to find all my lessons, as a nap time....Detention".

Great nothing seems to be going my way lately, my life is just one boring cycle. Get up for school, come home, do work and go to bed! And now to top it all off I have detention. It's not my fault though, for falling asleep. I am studying all the time, late nights, early mornings, trying to get good grades. You see I have always wanted to be a doctor, to save lives, to give people a second chance. I am only seventeen for gods sake.

The rest of my day dragged by in a grey blur trying to take as much in as I can.

¥Detention¥

As I walked down the hallway to detention I noticed how gloomy and quiet the school seemed once the bell goes off at 3:15.

"lucky sods" get to go home, by the looks of it it will be dark by the time I get home, but to be honest there is not much to do there as I already mentioned. Just homework.

I eventually trailed my way to detention.

"Oh great" Mr Tanner, the grumpy old man, who seems closer related to a pig than an human, the way he mumbles and grunts.

I sat down and got on with work whilst the hour slowly ticked by.

Eventually the hour passed by. Looking out the window I noticed the street lights turning on and the sky darkening a deep inky black. When i stepped out onto the street i felt a harsh bitter could hit my face.

"huhhhhhh" the heat from my breath made wisps of smoke pass my warm lips.

I could barley see a thing as the street lights were only a dim amber. I put on my gloves, attempting to keep myself warm.....

As i continued to walk i thought i heard a menacing wicked laugh. Turning my head round in a panic i saw nothing. it must have been a crow or something. I reasured myself and continued to walk, but as the noises continued i started to feel tense. All my senses became more alert as i listened out for a snap of a twig, looked out for a mysterious shadow. The hairs started to stand on my arms.

WOOSH

What was that? I went flying round, my heart started to race violentley. Beating faster and faster.

SWOOSH

Again i flew around, but this time an unberiable pain surged through my arm. A pain i had never experienced before, it felt like a million needles stabbing into me, scortching flames licking my tender skin feircley.

I couldnt take it any more i let out a bloodcurdeling scream, and collapsed. The last thing i saw were blue flashing lights then a pool of darkness.
