"You can't take him!"

"We had a deal Mary, now hand over the child."

"No! You can't have Daniel! He's my son!" Mary yelled as she stood in front of a crib with the sleeping child in it.

The man started to laugh as he took a few steps closer to the other.

"He's also my son, now finish your part of the deal."

"No! I can't!"

"You promise to have my child if I gave you all the money that you needed and more. So that way you and your family could continue this circus job."

"I know that I did but I change my mind. He's part of the family now and had been for two years."

"He wouldn't had been here but you made me allow you to keep him. Now hand over my son before things get deadly."

"Let Vlad take the boy Mary."

Vlad smiled as he turn to face the newcomer John.

"John, no!"

"Mary that's his son and a deal is a deal."

Before Mary could say anything else John went over and knocked her out. "Take the child and never show yourself here again."

"You have my word."

What they didn't know was an nine years old hiding in the room listening.

Somewhere in Wisconsin inside a mansion.

"Daniel! Where did you run off to this time?"

Before he knew a scream was heard threw out the mansion. Vlad quickly ran towords the sound of screaming. He relize the sound came from his lab. Once he walked in his eyes widened at seeing his young child laying on the ground inside his portal.

"No! Anything but this!"

He ran over to check his son pulse but found none. He took a closer look to see his son had a different hair color.

"Daddy?"

He gentle picked up his young child with a soft smile.

"Everything okay Little badger, Daddy won't let anything happen to you."
