Naruto had been in a slight shock when he woke up the next morning... the fact that Meliodas had his arms wrapped around his form fairly tightly and his face was buried into his chest making him get the very distinct scent from Meliodas to radiate off of him straight into his nose made it very difficult to keep his cool... 

Scratch that, Naruto was never cool when he was around Meliodas, he knew that for a fact whenever Meliodas tried to poke and prod at him he knew that he was blushing every time he did it, but this! Oh, Naruto knew he was bright red right about now. He closed his eyes, breathing in and trying to figure out a way to squeeze away from his hold. He knew he couldn't think right at the moment considering...

Yeah Naruto couldn't think with Meliodas's shirt slightly up and his shorts were starting to look a lot more like boxers and he couldn't be here at the moment. He slowly wormed his way out before he fell to the ground off the bed... he groaned out slightly as he slowly sat up and rubbed his head, as much as it was aching he stood up quickly and ran to his bathroom and closed the door... it was almost time for the alarm to ring and he did not want to be in the room when Meliodas wake...

He looked up in the mirror, his face as he thought was lit up like a Christmas tree, he turned on the water to cold and splashed it on his face like it was on fire. He shuddered as he did before he heard his alarm clock go off and then instantly was hit... he listened to Meliodas get up from the bed as the floor was a little creaky from the entrance of the door and then heard the door open... then close... He sighed shakily, He really needed to talk to Meliodas... but not in the position... that he woke up in.

He grabbed the towel and dotted his face with it before going out of the bathroom and into his closet and began changing into his normal ninja ware, placing his pouch on his ride side, he came out of his room with a stretch to his legs and arms he walked into the kitchen to see Hyori awake and cooking a quick breakfast, a bit of omurice, he flipped his omelet onto the rice and put it in front of him, Meliodas who was sitting on the counter eating his own while Hyori grabbed at another egg. 

"So what did Merlin-sensei say we would be doing?" Hyori asked as he flipped his egg in the pan, Meliodas who had a bit of egg in his mouth made Naruto sigh, "She said we would be doing a higher rank mission since we did so many D rank missions. Though she didn't specify." Meliodas swallowed his egg briefly. "Probably a C-rank, it would only make sense." He placed his plate in the sink with Naruto following suit afterward.

"By the way, what happened last night? You guys were both in Naruto's room." Naruto blushed brightly as Meliodas deadpanned. "Did we keep you up? I know how rough I can be." Hyori sputtered at that as his face flustered up. "WE DID NOT!" Naruto shouted his face an angry blush. "Did what? I just massaged you is all. Not my fault you were moaning loudly." He said back and Naruto's face blew a gasket. "What did you think I was talking about? Naughty Naru-chan."

Hyori's blush died down, instantly getting that he was teasing, his face was always so serious all the time, he can't ever tell when there's a joke or tease in the boy's voice... Naruto was shaking the boy who seemed to be in his own little world before the three heard a knock. Naruto looked curiously at the door before getting up and going to it. Opening the door he blinked up in shock. "Merlin-sensei?" He asked curiously as the black-haired woman stepped in. "Pack for a week, we need to leave immediately."

The three blinked away the shock as Hyori placed his plate in the sink as Naruto ran up the stairs. "Whats up Merlin-Sensei?" Hyori asked, knowing Naruto went to go grab a scroll that was full of all they would need for the mission, already premade them for emergent missions like this one. "Team 7 was assigned a c rank mission yesterday and was ambushed by the demon brothers and the demon of the mist, Kakashi has sent a bird requesting another team just in case if anyone else would appear," Merlin said fairly quickly as Naruto ran down the stairs and threw a scroll to each of the boys. 

"Got it sensei," Naruto said as he waved the scroll slightly before placing it in his very small bag on his back. As he stepped outside he felt something off... before he found out what it was. "Leaving so quickly must be a bad one." Looking up as his surroundings disappeared into a sewer, "Kyuubi-san, now is not the time." The fox laid his head down and rolled his eyes. "It's never the time Naruto, but if that's your belief then you are going to die young." The Kyuubi held his tongue from saying another word afterward making Naruto glare up at him. "Belief? That's funny coming from you, why would you believe in such things?" 

"You would think I wouldn't have belief? I've walked this earth far longer than you brat." Naruto rolled his eyes briefly, "We got it, you're old." He continued running in the real world, his eyes focused on that but he kept talking with the Bijuu. "Ancient would be the correct term, how you're race seems to have devolved will still be the world's greatest mystery." He shook his head. "Used to run from castle to castle and enjoy freedom but hey, you guys forgot how to work stone." Naruto frowned slightly at that.

"Castles? We still have castles, they just got bombarded to hell by Chakra. That's what the history books say anyway, weren't YOU the one to cause all that destruction?" Naruto said with an annoyed look. "Oh it was chakra, you are right. It rained hell during one of the more devastating wars and with it came Chakra, imagine my surprise when I ate a fruit that had a massive amount of it and gained eight more tails!" He shouted in his mind making him wince. "Well, the history books got that right at least..."  He paused as he looked up briefly in his mind.

"You said it rained hell!?" He asked as he and the others ran past the village gates... Hyori suddenly touched his arm after a little while in the middle of his conversation. "Naruto? You alright? You weren't responding." He turned quickly and he smiled sheepishly, "Sorry just thinking, what is it?"  He asked as he continued running, looking behind him seeing Merlin was also running without breaking a sweat. "I said, you know water walking right? Seeing as you've been training with Tsunade every chance you can get." 

Naruto nodded his head as she sighed in relief. "Good, don't have to have Meliodas carry you... God knows he would grope you every chance he got." She muttered as Meliodas blinked innocently hearing the words but the other two didn't thankfully. "I was being literal yes, not exactly sure what happened, all I know is that the rain was pure chakra and anything it hit was destroyed, there were only a few things that were hit and survived... Imagine acid rain but explosive." Naruto grimaced at the thought.

"I was one of those things, and It was not a fuzzy feeling like what you humans have." He felt the beast shudder in his mind, the cage-rattling as he did. Naruto looked up in his mind to the cage, "Exactly why are you telling me this?" The fox had gave the blond an annoyed look and growled, "I haven't had a conversation with someone that wasn't my containers for the past one hundred years." Naruto opened his mouth before closing it. "Fair point..." 

Naruto kept running before they finally stopped, in front of them was a coastline. "Alright, that Island right there is Wave, see that bridge?" Merlin asked as she pointed out a massive bridge that seemed to be halfway built. "We are going to protect a bridge-builder until it is finished. Now, can you guys make it that far?" Merlin asked as Hyori looked a little hesitant before shaking his head in a negative.

"Hop on." Meliodas instantly leaned down making Hyori groan slightly, "Grope me like you do Naruto I will stab you." Meliodas smiled at that, "Well good thing I only grope Naruto then." He was bonked on the head by Hyori, "Well you shouldn't GROPE anyone!" He scolded as they started running across the water. "Is that his greeting by the way? I always see him do it to you." Naruto almost tumbled into the water at the question but ignored the fox as they continued running for a good five minutes before they finally got onto land. Sighing in relief he looked over towards Merlin who still didn't look winded, but neither did Meliodas.

"Alright, next I need to locate them... I should be able to sense Kakashi-san fairly easily..." She had met him numerous times as an Anbu and her first impression was she wanted to stab his eyes out for reading a certain orange book. Closing her eyes she focused briefly before she pointed in a direction after a minute. "It's a straight shot this way." Naruto sighed slightly as he started running once again, "Just one more run..." After another ten minutes, they finally reached the house, Hyori and Naruto leaning against each other slightly breathless... it was like their training but five times the amount of running they normally did.

"Come now boys, that was nothing more than a warmup." Merlin teased as she knocked on the door to the little house. After a moment a familiar mop of pink hair opened the door and smiled in relief. "Oh thank god, please come." Sakura waved her hand forward as the four went inside. "Oh, are these the backup?" A man with a familiar smell of sake asked, Naruto's nose twitched slightly, smelling it a lot off of Tsunade.

"Yes, Tazuna-san!" The now dubbed Tazuna nodded his head. "The other Jounin, Kakashi was injured pretty badly." Sakura in the brief exchange between Merlin and Tazuna grabbed Naruto's hand who was not expecting it pulled towards the living room where Kakashi laid unconscious. "You know medical ninjutsu right?" She asked as Naruto blinked in surprise. "How did you know?" Sakura blinked and blushed slightly in embarrassment. "I always saw you reading those books about anatomy and medical ninjutsu so I only assumed." 

Naruto nodded his head nevertheless before putting his hands in front of him. "Because this is urgent I will have to do this quickly." Naruto closed his eyes before he put his hand on top of Kakashi's forehead... after a moment he opened his eyes and his orange eye glowed before Kakashi's eyes snapped open quickly... his wounds seemingly gone. "Naruto..?" He muttered making Naruto blink before remembering... "Everyone knows who I am..."

Naruto stood up and put his hand onto the armrest of the couch, propping himself up, "Sorry, it was emergent so I used my bloodline. Kakashi opened his mouth to say something before Merlin walked in with the white-haired boy trailing behind her... he must have walked down from a room as he didn't see him when he entered. "Alright kids, Kakashi and I need to plan, you guys go rest," Merlin ordered making the three straighten up. "Yes sensei." 

Sai who followed up after them as Naruto turned slightly in confusion. "...Yes?" He asked the boy. "My apologies, I was just trying to find nicknames for my new friends..." Naruto blinked and back away slightly uncomfortable by the boy's attitude. "Okay." He drawled out before Sai smiled. "Dickless!" Hyori choked on air slightly at that as Sakura wasn't fairing any better.

"Sai! I told you it's rude to insult someone!" Sai smiled at her, "It's only the truth, ugly." She gained a tickmark as Meliodas stepped forward, "Well I can tell you for sure that Naruto is defiantly not dickless." Sai smiled at him, "Why's that?" He asked curiously more than anything but his happy demeanor still there. "Well because I've felt it!" Naruto blushed brightly as did Sakura and Hyori, but less than Naruto. "Good to know pervert."  

Meliodas smiled brightly, "Yep that's me!" Naruto put his hands in his face.

"Kill me..."

"So it is a greeting?"

"SHUT UP!" His ears were burning at this point...
